He made sure to get all the supplies, bag in hand, Dean rushed inside the hotel room. Kicking the door closed behind him, he dropped the keys to his baby on the table, shimmied his way out of his jacket. "Cas! Get your feathery ass down here!" he called out. The room was empty, the only light was coming from the neon lights of the sign outside, it was enough to illuminate the room. Dean took his shoes off, and grabbed the bag from the table, Cas was standing there as soon as he turned. "You ready?" Dean asked the angel. Cas nodded, although he wasn't sure what Dean exactly asked him what he was ready for, he learned a long time ago that it was just best to go with the flow and do as Dean asked. "Okay, strip down to your underwear, and undershirt," Dean commanded, he took one of the contents out of the bag and put it on the VRC that was on top of the TV.

Cas did as he was told, but the look on his face was a questioning one. Dean grabbed the remote, and turned his head to look at Cas, he smiled. It was after Thanksgiving, Christmas soon approaching, and with all of that holiday spirit going around, Dean decided it was time for Castiel to watch A Christmas Story.

Dean was only four years old the year this movie came out, it was just weeks before it was suppose to come out when his mom died. She had promised Dean she would take him while John took care of little Sammy at home, of course that didn't happen. After his mother's death, and the state his father was in, going to watch a movie was out of the question. It wasn't until Dean was seven years old that he finally got the chance to watch it. Dean and Sam were alone during Christmas eve at a hotel, while their dad was out hunting. Dean was eating a pumpkin pie, and little Sammy fell asleep halfway through. Dean watched it until the very end, all the while thinking of his mother, and how if she was still alive, they would have watched it together like she promised.

Cas didn't need more instructions on what to do, he pulled the covers of the bed and settles himself under them, Dean placed the bag with his pie on the bed and proceeded to take off his pants and get under the covers next to Cas.

Dean inched closer until he was leaning back on Cas, with pie in hand, and the remote in the other, he turned the TV on. There were some perks to having an angel for a boyfriend, and this was one of them. Cas rested his chin on the top Dean's head and draped his left arm over Dean's shoulder. Dean sighed, he might not have his mother, but having Cas this close to him, he once again felt that comforting safe feeling inside of him he hadn't felt since he was four. Dean started eating his pie as the movie started, smiling to himself.
