Teddy Bear
A short little poem, a little Rikku is shunned out of her house, wandering the streets for a night.
FFX(sadly) doesn't belong to me, blah blah blah...
Her fragile body came flying out of the door. A few scrapes and cuts came through her legs and
arms but she thought nothing of it. Her shorts were no protection against the bitter cold of Al Bhed
nights, which contradicted the stifling heat of the days. Sadly, she lowered her head and found a comfortable
nook between two trash cans and tried to sleep.
It's not easy, out here at night
Tears and emotions clouding your sight
Heat and cold, not much fun to you
Al Bhed nights aren't friend to little Rikku
Not really sure 'bout anything
Never been taught to smile or sing
Only thing you've known is to be alone
Or show someone that you've grown
Who'll be the one to tuck you in at night?
Who'll read you stories and comfort your fright?
Who'll love you and keep you safe and warm?
Who'll take you in during thundering storms?
What will help you feel up to life?
What will silence your strife?
What will comfort your tears?
What will shoo off your fears?
What will be your teddy bear?
What will always be right there?
What will never cease to be?
What will remind you of family?
