It was the little things that he would notice. How she would rub her wrist when she was nervous, the little eyebrow frown when she was confused, the way she was especially conscious about her nose, how she would get cold easily, her obsessive love for musicals...he loved them all.

There was something he hated more than anything, though: when she cried. Her nose would turn a fire engine red, and snot would be falling. It was quite disgusting actually. It was even more annoying when it would be because of him, and no matter how much he hated to admit it, he wasn't worth crying over.

So that's why, as he laid on the colorless sheets, stern eyes scolded her to stop the tears. He loved that sunny smile of hers more than those salty droplets falling down her cheeks. He loved the twinkle in her eyes more than the glassy ones that gazed down upon him. He loved it when she spread that infectious love of hers to the world, even if he wasn't in it.

Promise me, even when I'm gone, that you will be happy without me.

A/N: This was just a little something I wrote for an exchange for tumblr. I'm actually kind of proud of it because I usually don't write like this when it comes to drabbles. Sorry for making this sad by the way. It was actually supposed to be a fluffy thing at first but...

Anyways, hope you guys liked it. Read, review, and enjoy.
