"Mermando, you should be happy!" Mermando's mother cried.
"This Mabel person was kind enough to return you to us!"
Mermando sighed and stared longingly at the loudspeaker Mabel had given him to call his family. When he was with Mabel, he realized how much he missed his family. Now that he was with his family, he realized how much he missed Mabel. Depression has quickly taken over him. He broke off a piece of coral and began to sketch Mabel's face in the sand. When he was done, he threw the piece of coral aside and stared at the surface longingly.
