Disclaimer: Me no own, you no sue.
*cough* I know, I know... Long time, no see. I apologize for my long hiatus. Writer's block, along with the combination of me being a lazy ass and my semi-new obsessions with LOTR and Gackt, made writing the next chapter of Ryoushi no Yoru II exceedingly difficult, so here's something new to tide you over for now... _ Gomen, I really didn't mean to take this long.

Gone to Earth : Chapter 1
~*~*~*~*~
Clef stood at the front of the room, nervously facing all of the occupants of the castle. Sweat poured down the back of his neck as he unknowingly tightened and relaxed his grip on his staff over and over tediously. The chattering of the people around him began to bore into his skull, and he exhaled deeply as he rubbed his temples. After a deep breath to calm himself, Clef nervously cleared his throat to catch their attention. The chattering quickly silenced, and a half-dozen pairs of eyes met his.
"W-welcome," Clef said shakily as he managed a smile. A bead of sweat ran down his face, and his bangs, wet from perspiration, clung to his forehead, much to his annoyance. Clef pulled his bangs away from his face hastily before he continued, only to have them fall back to their original position.
"I have asked you to be here today," Clef continued. "because I have some, well, slightly disturbing news." Clef paused briefly to conjure an image of Earth with his staff for all to see.
"You see," Clef said. "I have recently been monitoring the planet on which the Magic Knights live, and— "
"You what?!" A cry echoed throughout the throne room. Clef looked towards the end of the large, round table in shock to see Ferio on his feet, hands firmly planted on the table. Ferio glared at Clef with angry golden eyes, his teeth clenched tight in anger.
"Ferio!" Clef snapped.
"How could you!" Ferio yelled. "You've been monitoring the Magic Knights this whole time, and you never bothered to share it with us?!"
"I was not monitoring the Magic Knights!" Clef objected. "Only the planet!"
"That's not the point!" Ferio yelled.
Suddenly, Lantis placed a firm hand on Ferio's shoulder. "Sit down and let the Master Mage explain."
Ferio grunted in frustration before reluctantly dropping back into his seat. Clef gave Lantis a look of thanks before continuing.
"As I was saying, I have been monitoring the planet Earth, but recently, I have detected an evil energy beginning to form around the planet."
"An evil energy?" Ferio asked.
Clef nodded. "Because of this, I have grown concerned for the Magic Knights' safety, and I have decided to travel to Earth to investigate the problem."
"What?!" This time it was Presea's turn to speak out. "You're not going by yourself are you?"
"Yeah!" Ferio yelled as he stood. "What about us?"
"And how exactly do you plan to get to this Earth? It's not like traveling to Autozam or Chizeta! It's a different world!"
"If you're going, I'm going! No doubt about it!"
Suddenly, the room was filled with the sounds of angry yells. Clef cringed and rubbed the bridge of his nose in frustration. It was just like them to overreact... A vein pulsed in his temple, threatening a migraine. Just one more comment could drive him off the edge . . .
"No way in Hell are we gonna let you go by yourself without us!"
...And that was the edge.
"URUSAI!!" Clef yelled as loud as he could. The yelling immediately silenced. How so much power could come from such a small man, no one knew.
"First of all, I was not planning on completing this mission alone," Clef said angrily. "Second of all, I have nearly mastered the summoning spell, and I'm pretty sure I can make it work the other way around: sending us to Earth. Therefore, I'm going to need two people to come: Lantis and Ferio."
Ferio grinned broadly and ran towards the front of the room as Lantis followed with his usual poker-faced expression.
"Now," Clef instructed the two men. "Here's what we must do..."
~*~*~*~*~
The instructions had been completed, and Ferio couldn't wait to get to Earth. However, when it was time to transport themselves to Earth, Ferio wasn't as enthusiastic.
"Are you sure you're mastered the spell?" Ferio asked Clef as they prepared to teleport.
"I never said I mastered it," Clef pointed out; Ferio paled. "I said I've nearly mastered it. But, I've placed a protection spell on us, just in case."
Ferio groaned. "We're dead," he muttered.
"I heard that!" Clef snapped.
Eventually, Ferio and Lantis were positioned with their hands on Clef's shoulders. Ferio closed his eyes tightly in fright as Clef began muttering the incantation. Clef closed his eyes and lifted his staff and, in a flash, they were gone.
~*~*~*~*~
In an instant, the three men found themselves falling from the skies of Tokyo.
"What the hell?!" Ferio yelled as they began to plummet towards the ground.
"Damn..." Lantis groaned as he saw how far down the ground was. Clef was frantically trying to summon a monster with his staff, but his efforts proved futile.
"Damn it, Clef! Do something!" Ferio yelled.
"I can't!" Clef yelled back. "My magic isn't working!"
Suddenly, the ground sped towards them, quicker than they could ever imagined. Clef felt a piercing pain throughout his entire body and his head knocked against the concrete. Clef cried out sharply as he saw the forms of Ferio and Lantis fall beside him. His vision began to blur and he stayed conscious just long enough to hear the pained cries of Ferio and Lantis. Suddenly, his whole body went numb and everything went black.

Umi gave a long, tired sigh a she wiped her forehead with the back of her hand. She placed a hand on her hip and admired her work.
"Finally, I'm finished!" Umi sighed as she propped the mop against the wall and admired her work. Hikaru, Umi, and Fuu, now nineteen years old, had been working at the hospital for the past couple weeks, just to earn some extra money. Much to Umi's annoyance, she had been placed on floor-cleaning duty.
"Hey, Umi!" a voice called from around the corner. "You done?"
"Yep!" Umi called back happily.
A much taller and grown-up Hikaru poked her head around the corner.
"Aww!" she cried. "Could you help me and Fuu, then? I hate delivering food to patients!"
Umi laughed. "'Fuu and I'," she corrected gently. "And I'll be there in a minute! I'm going to head upstairs for a cup of coffee."
"Okay," Hikaru sighed and she turned back around the corner.
Umi smiled to herself and walked towards the nearest elevator. She stepped inside and gently pushed the 'up' button. When she reached the 5th floor, she headed towards the cafeteria. She hummed a happy tune, lifting her spirits slightly—cleaning was a ridiculous bore. As she walked down the hallway, she hummed along to Gackt's "Tsuki no Uta", which was playing on the radio, coming through speakers over her head. However, as she passed by a patient's room, she paused when a chart hanging on the front of the patient's door caught her eye. It read:
Patient #45734
Name: Unknown
Sex: Male
Age: Unknown. Estimated to be around the ages of 10-14.
Blood type: Unidentified.
Ailments/Cause: Slight concussion, minor head injuries. Cause unknown.
Umi found this all very odd. How could you have an unidentified blood type? Name, age, cause of injury... all were unknown—everything except gender. Finally, Umi's curiosity got the better of her, and she peeked into the patient's room.
The room was dark—the lights had been shut and the curtains closed tight. Umi crept up to the bed, curious to see who happened to be the mysterious patient. Suddenly, she caught a glimpse of lavender hair against the pillow. Her sapphire eyes widened. Could it be...?
Umi promptly switched on the lights, and she clearly saw the occupant of the bed. Her hand flew to her mouth as his body stirred, and his azure eyes flickered open. He sat up and placed his hand against his head, an I.V. attached to his wrist.
"Where in the..." he mumbled as he adjusted his eyes to the light. Suddenly, a gasp came from the blue-haired woman on the other side of the room.
"CLEF?!"
"Umi?" Clef stared at her, dumbfounded. Umi was about to open her mouth to speak, but a loud, masculine yell and an ear-piercing scream diverted her thoughts.
Umi bolted to the doorframe and looked into the long, white corridors to see what was going on.
"Damn it!" the masculine voice yelled again. "Get away from me!"
A frightened, feminine voice came, though Umi couldn't make out the words.
"Just get out!" the voice yelled again. All of a sudden, there was a loud crash, and another scream. "Get out! AND WHERE THE HELL ARE MY CLOTHES?!"
Suddenly, a nurse ran from the room, her clipboard shielding her head from the miscellaneous flying medical utensils that shot at her.
"Oh... my..." Umi murmured, watching as the nurse ran for her life.
All the crashing suddenly ceased, and the masculine voice came again, "Clef? Lantis? Where am I?" The owner of the voice ran out into the hallway, "Umi?!"
A door across the hall opened, and everyone's heads turned. Lantis emerged from the room, a crisp bandage around his head. He rubbed the back of his head gently, then stared at everyone else.
"Umi?" Lantis asked. Umi glanced back and forth between Ferio, Lantis, and Clef, all dressed in hospital gowns, dumbfounded. Suddenly, she slumped to the ground in a dead faint.

Yes... this is another "The-people-of-Cephiro-go-to-Earth-and-reek-havoc-on-Tokyo" fic. I am planning on continuing this, along with Ryoushi no Yoru II (which I will update... eventually). I hope you enjoyed this! ^_^ Please review!
Oh, and I apologize if I inaccurately described any part of the hospital. I'm making all of that up. I've never really been inside a hospital before—well, not really—so I wouldn't know. I also apologize for any random references I may make to Gackt throughout this fic—I can't help it, I'm completely obsessed.
REVIEW, KUDASAI!!
