Here is my second assignment for Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry Challenges and Assignments. I choose to do the first task for Home Economics and Domestic Magic. So I hope you all enjoy.
"Sirius be careful," James chided his best friend. "Lily will kill me if I show up and it's broken again."
Sirius shook his head vigorously, his long hair slapping his face as he did so. "You and Lily are taking this far too seriously," he told his friend placing a hand strongly on his shoulder. "You need to relax a little man. Or else you won't make it to the end of this."
"Thank you for the vote of confidence, Padfoot," was the short reply flung at Sirius as James protectively clutched something in his hand. "Be careful about pounding on me when I'm holding it." He shook his head muttering something about having Lily kill Sirius if anything happened.
"Might not want to have Lily hear you call your project an it," Remus chimed in from his place over by the fireplace.
"But Moony..."
"Sirius won't be the only one getting killed if Lily hears you calling your egg child an it," Remus went back to writing his Potions Essay as got warm.
"But Moony..." whined both Sirius and James.
Just then Lily walked over and took the egg, for their Muggle Studies project, from James. She smiled as made sure there wasn't a scratch on it. Then she turned to James. "Thank you for not killing Harry Sirius again," she said going on her tip toes to give his cheek a kiss. Then she walked up to girls dormitory.
Sirius, Remus, and Peter broke out into peals of laughter as James watched Lily head upstairs.
"How many times did you kill your fake baby?" Sirius inquired with a cocked eyebrow.
There you have it. Another fluffy moment. This time with the Marauders. I hope everyone enjoyed.
