Disc: If I owned Sakura, she'd be doing this in the near future.
AN: I said I was never again going to write a rhyming poem, ever. It seems I was wrong. I blame Sakura! It's all her fault! Sakura Matsuri means Cherry Blossom Festival and involves things like people watching cherry blossoms and getting very drunk. ...Now as long as I don't write a Naruto poem, I'll be fine.
SAKURA MATSURI
Falling cherry blossoms fill the skies;
The light spring breeze ruffles my hair.
You don't care.
Oh, you with the ink-black eyes,
And skin pale like the moon,
I'll be leaving soon.
I'll find myself a new love.
There's plenty to be found.
We'll meet on common ground.
I'll find myself a new love.
I'll close my eyes and leave up it to fate.
Hey, I can wait.
There's a volcano inside of me.
She still explodes, sometimes,
And speaks my mind.
The girl who I have grown to be,
A girl sharp and fast, still in her prime,
Does not need her all the time.
I'll find myself a new love.
The other village girls still wait for you.
I used to do that too.
I'll find myself a new love.
I'll be myself and see how far I go.
I've yet got room to grow.
Cherry blossoms fall at my feet.
I once tried to be small and sweet and white
To bathe in your harsh light.
Now, if we should meet,
I'll challenge you and prove the old me wrong.
I'm perfectly strong.
I'll find myself a new love,
To hold until the dawn
After the spring is gone.
I'll find myself a new love.
If they don't like the length of my hair,
I won't care.
