It was 7:00 am at Fairy Tail and the only person to be seen within the guild's hall was the beautiful waitress known as Mirajane. She was doing her usual duties behind the guild counter with her usual spirited personality. The guild was quiet which is rare at Fairy Tail because everyone was still in bed. Mirajane loved all her friends but she loved some peace and quiet sometimes no matter how much you have become accustomed to the ruddiness of the guild.
The silence was broken when the guild's doors came flying open and to be seen was none other than the pink salmon haired boy known as Natsu Dragneel who was accompanied by his blue feline friend: Happy.
Natsu made his way to the counter where Mirajane was eyes half shut with Happy laying on top his head and sat down on one of the stools resting his head unto the counter. Mirajane smiled at the comedic was he laid his head on the counter.
"Hey Natsu, what's wrong you seem tired?" she inquired.
"I couldn't sleep" he said in depression eyes half shut.
"Oh, is something wrong?"
"No, just couldn't sleep" he said letting out a yawn "I think I'm just gonna take a job, what do you think Happy old buddy?"
"Aye" his feline friend replied.
Natsu and Happy then made their way towards the job request board and began looking around at the various job request posted on it.
After looking around the board for several minutes, Natsu let out a depressing sigh "Dammit! None of these jobs are any fun, I want an S-class job!" he exclaimed then his eyes then slid across to Mirajane behind him.
"Mira, how is that you never go on jobs even after you regained your magical power?"Natsu asked curiously.
"Well…umm…you see" Mirajane mumbled trying to come up with a possible logical reason.
"I've got it!"Natsu shouted causing both Mirajane and Happy to look at him in curiosity.
"Mira let's go on a S-class job together, me, you and Happy" Natsu beckoned.
"Aye"chanted Happy.
Natsu's sudden request brought Mirajane into surprise, when she looked over at him he was showing her one of his boyish grins wished she so adored.
"W-well you see Natsu the guild has so many things that need to be done and well I'm the only one who can do it." Mirajane lied.
"Awww, come on Mira it will be " Natsu begged trying to persuade her with sad faces and pouts.
Letting out a sigh Mirajane then said"Fine I will come with you Natsu" Mirajane agreed smiling.
