A/N: This is just a test run, if it gets good feedback (follows and favorites), I'll continue you. Or I might continue it if I feel like it. Who knows. It begins the day after Elsa and Anna were playing in the ballroom and Anna got ice in her eye.

I was just a little girl when Elsa was sent away. Nothing led up to this day, I woke up, ran downstairs, and there were her things, being packed. Mother was fussing over her cloak, a traveling cloak.

"Be strong, my love," she said. Crystal tears slipped down Elsa's perfect face, now turning red.

"What-" I said, and they realized I was standing there.

"Anna," said mother. "We'd hoped you'd awake soon."

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"Elsa is going away, to a special school."

"Why?" Tears were starting to well up in my eyes.

My father wrapped a strong arm around my little shoulders. "You and I both know that Elsa is a special girl. Well, at this school she will learn how to be the best person, best queen she can be."

"But why does she have to leave?" I cried into my shoulder. "Why can't she learn to be the best here?"

"Duckling," said my mother. "As you grow older you will learn that sometimes, you can't have everything. And we're just as sad as you are, but we can't have Elsa stay. This is truly going to be the best for everyone."

"But Mama-!"

"No 'but's Anna. This is the way it has to be."

"No! No! No no no!" I shouted. In a fit of tears, I ran up the stairs. With a sob I buried my face into the pillow and cried myself to sleep.

I woke up a few hours later, the sunlight streamed throw the window than it had before. I ran back downstairs and paused on the last step. Elsa, along with all her bags, was gone. She was gone, and I hadn't even said goodbye.

A/N: In all honesty, I didn't like Frozen. As my boyfriend put it: "It was a bad attempt at Tangled 2." There were some cute elements, but it's not one of the great Disney movies. They don't make 'em like they used to. Anyway, my point is that, I feel like they had a lot more potential with the story and they didn't even go into it. I feel like this is one of the opportunities they missed.
