Aya strolled down the street.

It had only happened five years ago. she never thanked him for everything. on this day, she couldn't keep him out of her mind. Dio. Dio. Dio. she thought of him. his name, his face, her promise. She never kept that promise.

She failed him. She carried on her father's work, knowing now that Dio had worked so hard and burned in the flames all in vain.

Aya felt tears form in her eyes. her thoughts consumed her and she let her feet carry her as she thought, and thought, and thought of Dio. Aya stopped as she came straight to the old burnt-out ruins of the mansion she had lived in all those years ago.

Looking at it, she felt the tears that she tried to keep in, pour out. Aya fell to her knees and let out large sobs of regret.

"I'm sorry," she whispered. "I'm sorry, I failed you..."

She clutched the grass as her sobs became uncontrollable.

"I couldn't keep my promise... I'M SORRY!"

"Sorry for what?" Said a masculine voice. Aya looked up to see Dio looking down on her.

"Dio..." Aya didn't know whether to be happy or sad. "I've done my father's work... I know you think I'm terrible."

"I never said I thought you were terrible." Dio smiled at her and started to disappear.

"DIO! DON'T GO! STAY WITH ME!" Aya didn't want him to go. She WON'T let him go.

"Be a good girl, Aya..." Dio let a single tear drop fall from his eye.

"DIOOO!" Aya jumped for him and gave him a quick kiss before he disappeared. "Dio..."

Aya fell back to her knees began to cry again. She wanted Dio to be with her. She wanted to go to school with him. Read books with him. Teach him. Talk to him... Marry him...

At this thought, Aya's eyes widened. "Could I have feelings for him?"

This only made her cry more. "Dio... I LOVE YOU!" Aya took a knife out of her pocket and jabbed it at her heart. "Dio! If you can't come to me, then I'll come to you!"

Aya stabbed and stabbed herself until so much blood covered herself that she passed out.

"Mistress... Mistress?" Aya had been gone so long that Maria had decided to look for her. "Mistress!" But by the time she had found her, she was already dead. "Mistress wake up!"

Maria rolled Aya on her back to find that she was covered in blood, clutching a knife in her hand and the situation finally dawned on her.

"Mistress, why did you do it? Why did you commit suicide?" Maria had become attached to Aya, as most people should to others of whom they've spent many years with. "I must bury her. It would be an insult to her memory if I did nothing." so Maria walked home to find a shovel in which to dig the hole with.
