PARADISE ONCE LOST

Tifa experienced bliss whilst on the ground, watching the sky.
The perfect blue sky.
The grass around her was soft and caressing. The wind blew gently.
The shade of a large and majestic Oak Tree covered her entire body.

Along with the grass cam lovely flowers of red, white, blue, yellow, and all colors of the rainbow. It was almost as if God has smiled down upon the large valley she lay. Roses with no thorns and daffodil's which did not bend under a persons weight. This was the most beautiful place in Tifa's world.

The soft crunch of grass alerted the amber eyed brunette to a new presence, and she sat up with a smile. "Hi."

A lovely Goddess stood before her. Long chestnut locks pulled into a beautiful and intricate braid. A simple pink bow adorned her hair. The Goddess wore a simple pink dress of modesty and a small red jacket, which adorned her slim shoulders.
Two silver bangles clasped to her lithe wrists, and on her feet, she wore large brown combat boots. Yet, even dressed in modesty she could not hide her beauty.
"Hi." She spoke, her voice making the place they stay all the more melodic.

They then sat together, talking of this, that, and nothing. Of the days, nights, weather, and paradise. As they spoke, they bonded closer than ever before. Tifa's hand lay on the grass, holding her upright as the Goddess in maiden's clothes laughed softly.

Her laughter was like a gentle brass bell. One that filled Tifa's head with a peaceful, tranquilizing calm. "Aerith, that means "of earth" doesn't it?".
The Goddess smiled. "Yeah, I'm glad you remembered." They shared another smile, completely in tuned with each other.
"Tifa Lockheart..." Aerith murmured.
"Does that mean that you lock away your heart, so you don't have to feel pain?"

A slight moment of uncomfort passed through Tifa, and she blushed.
"I hope I can have the key." Aerith's ivory hand then covered Tifa's.
The one's who's hear was locked gazed into the emerald eyes of the other girl.

"I...I have a spare..." Tifa murmured, embarrassed from the attention and warm touch.
"A spare? For me?" The Goddess laughed. Tifa wondered if this was a symphony, this girls laugh, her smile, and her words, which all strung together like an elegant piece of music. And all for her, her and her alone.

"Yeah...I can give it to you...if you want it." She breathed softly.
"I'd love it."

They then leaned in, and there was no closer perfection that this. Their lips touched, a warm, soft feel. Tifa was kissing love. She was no longer Tifa, but a star. A star destined to entwine with Aerith's star. She was pure, and she believed that this vague feeling was the feeling called "happiness".

Darkness then flooded her vision. Tifa sat up gasping for air. Sweat poured down her face, freezing. She felt herself shudder, It was a peculiar feeling of being so very hot, and so very cold, all at once.

She brought the covers closer to herself and sighed. Lying on her soft pillow she missed the feel of soft flowers and Aerith's breasts, which not even the softest pillow could compare.
She sighed and closed her eyes, hoping to her God that she could reclaim a paradise now lost.
