Since hardly anyone ever visits my LJ, I decided to post this here as well. It was a gift for Rebbe.

Disclaimer: once again, like always, I don't own BK/O

Lolo dashed through the undergrowth with her arms over her head. Oh, WHY did it have to start pouring NOW, of all times? She could already feel the faint tugging at her heart, the last remnants of Heartfall Rain, which legends claimed used to fall in Holoholo Jungle. She paused under the broad leaves of one of the massive jungle trees, panting slightly as she recovered from the effects of the rain. Sounds of combat drew her attention. Curiously, she followed them.

In a large clearing, unsheltered from the crippling rain, she saw Sagi. He and that girl (Milliarde?) were fighting against a troop of Acherons. The turtle-like beasts were clearly enjoying the rain, and were using it to their advantage. Lolo gasped when a powerful jet of water was launched at Sagi. Clearly in her element, Milliarde (hadn't she asked to be called Milly?) leapt and somersaulted her way over and hit the ball of water, making it fall to pieces. Lolo thought it looked almost like the two were dancing; their moves were so precise and perfectly synchronized with one another. It seemed almost surreal, how flawlessly the two complimented each other.

Within moments, what was once a rather large troop of Acherons was reduced to a pile of moist, spongy carcasses. Sagi and Milly put away their weapons as if nothing was out of the ordinary and began to pick through the dead bodies, pulling out random Magnus and little bits of gold.

Dazed, Lolo wandered back through the jungle back towards Opu. She was so distracted by what she'd witnessed that she didn't notice that the rain had long since stopped falling. Her mind was continuously replaying the scene she had stumbled upon. Blue and white and rainbow-shimmering feathers flying, the flash of sharp steel in the gentle misting rain, the graceful arcs of spiked clubs... Even after the rains of Holoholo Jungle, Lolo found that her mood was considerably lighter.

That's it. It was just a drabble. Review?
