Many years ago, the Earth was ravaged by a great war between the two most powerful factions.
The faction of order and prosperity was ruled by the Clan of the Goddess; angelic beings who served as protectors of light and guardians of order. Whose leader, is the Supreme Deity; a being of immense size who ruled the Heavenly Palace and the angels.
Then there is the other faction; the Demon Clan; demonic beings that feed the souls of living beings to live. They vary their shapes and sizes, each one possessed a power different from the others, according to rank, whether it is greater or lesser. All the demons were governed by the Demon King; a being of greater amount of power that governed its dimension as the maximum ruler of all demons.
For several centuries, the two factions began a war for the dominion of the Earth, several Clans joined the Clan of the Goddess to save their homes from the demons, while the Demon Clan recruited despicable beings to join their conquest .
Over time, several dead began to appear on the land, the villages were destroyed and the areas with trees and hills were razed. The war reached a peak, where all the lands were annihilated and the corpses of the fallen began to pile up.
Until something happened.
Beyond the cold, dark space covered with stars, several strange-looking ships flew around the planet. The ships were futuristic and advanced in appearance; with powerful guns and well-armored armor.
The unknown ships began to land in the atmosphere of the planet, flying over the blue sky, where all the Clans witnessed how large armored ships flew the skies.
For a second, large lights emerged from the guns, until they were fired, causing large explosions on the surface of the battle. Several races of the Clans were devastated by the powerful weapons, the missiles descended on the combatants, destroying them in the act. As reprisals, the Clans decided to attack the new threat, but were annihilated by the guns and missiles, causing serious damage to the land.
Several infantry ships were landed on land, with which several armored figures began firing their powerful weapons at the Clan races. The aircraft began to bombard the areas with the greatest concentration of enemies, while the ground troops fired. Some vehicles started firing powerful bursts, while the tanks launched destructive projectiles at their targets.
But the enemy ships began to suggest a plan to eradicate them. All troops and vehicles were called to evacuate. The Clans thought they had won, but they were wrong.
All the ships around the planet began firing at point-blank range. All the missiles and all the rays descended to the surface, destroying the Clans without mercy. Until finally they finished bombing the Earth. It was no more than a barren and desolate landscape, without any organic life.
The Holy War was over and the victors were the invaders of the stars.
Well, this was a bit short, but it was what came to mind in my mind. Anyway, the invaders were possibly any science fiction franchise that you can think of.
