Grace lay down on her bed, weak. She heard a knock on the door and answered with a faint "come in". In came 14 year old Ian Kabra. Yes. He had grown close to Grace because he needs to get more information about the 39 clues. Well, not only that. He needs to ask Grace, the closest person to the girl he likes for advice on how he can get the girl. Yes. Ian Kabra cannot deny his feelings any longer. Okay, fine. He went there mainly because of the second reason. The things I do for love Ian thought walking into the room and sitting on a chair. She smiled and said "Is there a problem? I didn't expect to see you here." Ian swallowed and said "I just wanted to visit and I need your help."
"Well, thanks for visiting and how can I help you?"
"Well, I don't know what to do anymore. I like Amy. What should I do?"
Grace laughed while Ian frowned. Finally she stopped and said "Just be yourself."
"You mean be a cold-hearted Lucian?" Ian knew what Grace meant.
"I know deep inside you that you are not just a cold-hearted Lucian, but a teenage boy who wants to get his crush to like him." Grace smiled.
"Okay Grace. Thanks." He smiled and stood up.
"You're welcome." She said before he left.
Grace was glad she was able to help. That might be the last good advice she would ever give someone. I wish it would work. And I now it will she thought I wonder when they will get married she smiled at this. Anytime from now, she could die. But she would leave this world peacefully. And that is why she wanted to do something nice for that boy. It was his parents wanted to win the 39 clues. The people who would kill whoever stood in their way. HE just followed instructions because he was scared. He wasn't the bad guy. And she knows that one day, he would change.
6 YEARS LATER
Ian stood in front of Grace's grave with his fiancé beside him. He smiled at the grave and said "Grace, thank you for your advise you gave me when I was 14," He looked at his fiancé who was also smiling "because it worked and we are getting married in 2 weeks." Amy smiled at the grave also and said "We miss you! And I wanted you to attend my wedding if only you lived to see that day. But sadly, you didn't," she wiped the tears forming in her eyes "but I know that you can see us right now. And I want you to be there on our wedding. Watching us," She smiled at Ian who hugged her. "Grace, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be with Amy because i don't know what to do. she is really different and hard to get, you know. You can't get her using just charm and looks. Unlike the other girls, she is different in a good way. Thanks." They put down a bouquet of fresh new flowers and left.
"You're welcome, Ian. Glad I could help." Grace said, looking down at them. "I will be there on your wedding Amy. I will always be there for you."
