Step, step, step. With each the step the pair of ninjas go their shoes more and more covered in mud. It's been raining all day, and still is. It was getting darker by the minute in the deep woods they were walking in.
"Admit it Sasuke-kun, you got us lost," teased Sakura, not really minding the rain.
"No, it should be just up here." Sasuke assured.
Wait. That was the order, just wait. Some old guy named Heisnbeg hired Team 7 to protected his village for a few days. Naruto and Kakashi were at the actual village and Sasuke and Sakura were ordered to wait at a camp site the old man set up.
"There it is!" yelled Sakura over the rain as she pointed at a tent.
They squeezed in the small tent. They were only teporarily relieved under the protection of the tent before noticing the single sleeping bag.
"Oh that old man must not have heard that there were two of us!" said Sakura, a little annoyed.
"You can have it, I don't mind." Sasuke offered.
"No I couldn't sleep like that knowing you were on the cold ground."
"What else could we do?" Sasuke asked. He knew exactly what they could do, but he wanted her to say it.
"Let's just, share the bag...?" she half asked, not wanting to come on too strong.
"Sure,"
They began taking off their wet clothes. They were told that whaver they needed was already waiting for them here, needless to say they had no pj's. At the same time they had the same thought. How much clothing should I take off?
"Uh, I don't mind wearing just my underwear" Sakura quickly commented, not wanting the awkward silence to go on too long.
"Yeah, me too," Sasuke agreed, stripping down to just his boxers. "sleeping in wet clothes could make us sick."
Sakura had only had her bra and panties on as she slipped into the bag. Sasuke got in next to her. The bag looked so much bigger out there, but once they were together, it was apparent how close they were.
For a while they kept their bodies as far away from each other as they could, except their chests which were impossible to separate.
"Goodnight Sasuke-kun"
"hn"
As the night got darker and the temperature got colder, the slowly embraced each other, and were happy.
