CHAPTER 1
Uh… Hello there I don't know how to do this but here it goes. Well let me see, it began about five years ago, yeah, it was the year 2015, in late September or so, the population still on the rise. Well have you ever thought that if we were good at viruses we used them at war, well this is what I think happened. People all over America started getting sick, it started with a family. The Stevens I think it was, yeah, well they just came from Russia, which is what we have been told before the news went down, so it happens that the father, Bill got sick badly ill they had to lose their house and car to pay off the treatment for this so called new disease, well it turns out the old man died within just one week of treatment and then the family got sick, kids at school got sick and at the blink of an eye their neighbors got sick, all hell started to break loose but this was only five years ago, now many diseases have sprouted and had left the old red white and blue America dead to the point of extinction.
Some of us survived, we were taken away by the military to base near area 51. We wore masks and baggy-air-filled clothes for protection. Many of us remained in the underground base, it was murky and cold, it smelled of dead and decomposed people. I would say that about 500 people per half of a football field fitted in the base I was in. We had 25 foot ball fields of 500 people per field space. We had doctors and nurses, scientist and many army men and women, others were just normal "now and there" people like me with an office job and a bad boss, but this was only in this part of the woods of Nevada, we wondered about other places, what were they doing to survive, were they at a base or were they taken out by the problematic distortion that changed out world. It took three months to lose conversation with the rest of The United States, and that's when food started to run low. A group of strong leaders formed laws many were the ones used before "the breaking", no murder, no stealing, you know those basic help and leaves us alone rules. Some people were angry others just went with the flow, but I always kept my suspicions. I noticed that then and there we started to see less people others thought they were dying but that's when I stopped eating meat.
Some of us were going crazy. We had lost things far and near to us but it was a long time ago now. Some say that America had it coming, others blamed it on the dirty Russians and their secrets, and some blamed God. One question that always remained in my mind was why were these bases made? Or for what?
