"That's disgusting."

"Whu?"

"Ew, really? Thanks for spraying me. How can you eat that?" She wipes off her face with a delicate finger before flicking her long blonde hair over her shoulders.

He swallows a huge mouthful before looking up and replying, "eat what?"

"You know that's filled with cholesterol, right?"

"Meh. Tastes good," he replies before taking another huge bite.

"God you're gross. It's a good thing I love you." He smiles up at her, his dinner covering his lips. "Yep, gross. Please finish so we can go somewhere that I can find something decent to eat."

"There's plenty of food there. Take your pick." He gestures around towards the taco truck behind him.

She eyes the line of people and the truck before replying, "yeah, no thanks."

He shrugs, "suit yourself. Now, can you quit complaining so I can eat in peace?"

"Whatever. We're finding somewhere more civilized after this so I can find something not drenched in fat and cholesterol. I hear there's a new vegan restaurant downtown."

"Vegetarians, ugh!" He exaggerates a shudder.

"Fat people, ugh!" She mimics. "Hurry up and eat!"

"Stop talking so I can!" She rolls her eyes in response but watches with an indulgent smile on her face as he finishes his meal and wipes off his mouth. "Okay, just have to toss out the trash."

"There's a dumpster right behind you."

"I can't put it there! That's far too obvious," he jokes as he tosses what's left of his meal in with a resounding thud.

"Classy. Now c'mon. I need some veggie." She steps towards opening of the alley as she slides on her sunglasses. Her hulking companion wraps his arms around her from behind after putting on his own shades.

"Thanks for stopping, baby. You know I can't resist."

"Uh, huh. Love you, Em."

"You too, Rosie. Now let's find your dinner. Can I pick it out?"

"No. You'll just pick some hot chick again. You always do."

"True. It's sexy. Deal with it."

"Idiot."

"You say that like it's an insult. I'm proud of my idiocy."

"Don't I know it. My big, scary, idiot vampire."

"Grrrr." His growl rumbled out of his chest, causing a human passing by to stumble away from him in fear.

"Stop it or I'm not going to get to eat. You'll scare them away."

"Okay. Let's go find your vegetarian."
