The Origin of the Ender Dragon

One day Steve was mining. As he was a newb, He was trying to get enough cobble for a cobblestone pick. When he finally got enough cobble, he went into his house (a hole in the side of a mountain) to craft it.

As he went in, he saw a bookcase. "Hm, I didn't put that there" he thought. "And I'm playing single player. I'll read one of the books." He pulled out a book at random. On the cover it said 'Courtesy of Herobrine'. This is what the book said.

"The Ender Dragon! The target of all truly brave minecraft heroes. But where did it come from? The short answer is: from the void. The long answer is what this book is about.

One day after I gained my powers, I decided to see what was in the void. I went deep in. Deeper than the level that causes the game to crash. Deep enough so that I stood on the roof of the nether. And I saw all the bodies. The bodies of other Steves that were killed, some with custom skins. I saw the bodies of long exploded creepers. The bodies of every creature that was ever killed in minecraft. Also, the body of a dead rainbow from the great war. I decided to merge all the bodies together just to see what would happen. I did, and all of a sudden… BOOM!

The Ender Dragon burst through the void onto the surface world. I loved him, as he caused nearly as much destruction that I did. It was beautiful. But then, the sightings started happening. He was getting into other people's worlds. He was a terror. Most of the Steves that saw him were dead soon after. If not dead, driven mad with fear. Then, one fateful day, the Dragon made an error, one that could kill him.

He tried to attack a server. When the people learned of this, they banded together to slay him once and for all. Archers! Swordsmen! Potion throwers! All in diamond armor. You had never seen such a war party! I did not want him to be slain forever, so I quickly built the End. I transported him there, and trapped him. I gave him special crystals so he could be slain and yet, survive.

This is the origin of the Ender Dragon. I tell you this as I am planning on destroying the end, and allowing the Dragon to roam free once more. I thought I would warn the others before you all end up on the roof of the nether."
