Thorus Memories

I was 6 when I lost my mother. So sad and alone. I remember it like it was just yesterday…. Tears ran down my pale flawless face as I started to remember.

I love my mom, with all my heart. So every day before she went to work I would say, "Bye mommy, I love you. be safe!" So joyfully. Then one day I asked my mom if I could stay up and watch the rest of my movie. I was lucky she let me. (Usually she only lets me stay up when she has days off). It was the next morning; I slept in so long my mom left for work before I was up. I looked out the window as a tear trailed down my delicate face. I hoped she was ok for the day.

All day I was wondering if my mom was okay. I thought, 'Hey, maybe she is okay. She has been working in this job for more than a year.' little did I know, she wasn't.

Later that day when it was time for my mother to return, she didn't.

It was an hour before one of my relatives came to inform me that my mother had died due to a car crash.

I couldn't believe what my ears had heard.

My relative asked if I was ok. I didn't answer. All I could hear was my own heart pumping blood fast enough, and loud enough, it sounded like a jack hammer.

He asked me once again and I fainted. As I fell to the ground I remembered my life all in one flash.

I woke up a while later. A few of my relatives were there and I was told to live with my grandfather, my aunt and my uncle.

I couldn't bear the thought of living without my mother. It was just too horrifying. But I had to live on. Because that's what my own mother would want me to do. She would want me to finish school, finish college, and become something great.

A lot of people knew what had happened to her mom.

So the question that always popped up in their head was: if her mom truly died, why does she still keep smiling?

People didn't know why she smiled if a lot of things had happened in her life. You see, her dad was gone by the time she was at least two months old either he had left for another woman or he had perished in their old apartment where there was a fire

She also had a lost twin brother; God knows where he went.

Now it was her mother.

Now she had only her grandfather and her aunt and uncle.

The only close people she had left was her two closest friends.

Although it has been year's sense her mother had died everyone still wonders why she still has that beautiful elegant smile of hers.
