Hello! So this is their proposal story so far. I literally had a dream about this and decided to write it because I liked the idea. This is only my second FanFiction, and my first was really really short, so I hope you like it!

Tris POV
I am asleep. Dreaming about him and I, running through a meadow of bright green. My shoes have fallen off, and the grass tickles my bare feet as I run behind him, trying to catch up. When I reach him, I tackle him to the ground, and he laughs. His laugh is amazing. So comforting and warm. I fall on top of him and he smiles and kisses my neck, and then my cheek, and then my lips. His lips are warm, and I can't help but smile against his mouth. He sits up and pulls me in to his lap.
"I love you Tris," he says, and puts his forehead against mine.
This is perfect, I think. I love him too. This is so perfect. He is my everything. I love him. And I want to marry him.
Tobias POV
I open my eyes to a bundle of soft, blonde hair in my face. I smooth her hair out of my face and put my arms around her. As soon as she feels me, she curls up against me, and I smile into her scalp. She's beautiful when she's asleep.
She has a small smile on her face, and once in a while she giggles, so she must be having a good dream. I stroke her hair for a while, watching her sleep. I want to stay here with her, but I can't. Tomorrow's the big day after all. Her 22nd birthday. But this birthday will be different. Special.
I slide my arms out from under her, and get out of bed.
Her hand reaches out to where I was holding her, and I take it and kiss her palm. I lay it back on the bed and put the blanket over her. When she curls up into a ball, I grin and put my hand on her cheek as I lean down and kiss her forehead. At this, her eyes flutter open and she looks at me, tired.
"Where are you going?" She says as she wipes her eyes.
"I have to go see Zeke, he needs me for something. I'll be back when you wake up okay?"
"Okay. I love you."
"I love you too."
I kiss her cheek and then grab a shirt and some pants from my dresser. I turn around to make sure that she's sleeping, and then grab the small black box from inside my drawer. Zeke will want to see what's inside.
