Katherine lives in her own little world some would say. Others say she is right in the present and thinks ahead. But in reality, she is everywhere. Past, present and future. Knowing the start of of the ravens, the middle where everyone lived in, and the end with the happy ending.
"Katherine?" But for her she never got her own happy ending. "Autor. Good to see you." She smiles. "Thinking about the time again?" "Being in a moment of happiness id the part I'm in every time. It draws me there."
She was there for Pike when she won her championship in the dance contest and she was there for Lile when she finished putting together her show for her tragic love story. One she made her own.
"I'm where someone needs a little happiness. I'm happiness itself."
"How will you live on when you die?"
"Autor. Happiness is everywhere. Just like me." It'l a mystery to me how moments last life times. But I'm glad it does."
Time ticks an tocks.
Days fly by in a blink.
Things we forget.
We leave when time comes.
But hope lasts forever. Happiness is our life.
"What is your happiness, Katherine?"
"I don't know. Great uncle drosslemyrer told me as a child his nice, my mom, and uncle Tommy that as children they were trouble but one day he gave her the best happiness. My past is all but forgotten. She and father were so happy seeing me. And we're proud of me becoming just like them. A fairy princess. At least through love. The love for my parents and friends. Love is our happiness. And it always will. Through the good and bad." I told him.
"So yours is your family and friends?" "How will this story end for me? When I find love I guess. But even if this story ends a new one begins. Never ending."
Moments between Fakir and Ahiru comes to mind knowing that there story lives and continues to grow. Rue and Mytho are living in their happy new life that they have fought to get back but for everyone as well as themselves.
"I wonder how long we were all trapped in that never ending cycle of a story?" "Years. Like me I never grew old. And you didn't either." it was true. "You saw everyone you loved die." Autor realized just how long Katherine has been doing this. "Yes. But with their souls moving on it's better. And living new lives." Tears fell from her cheeks. "I will be here with you." He said hugging her.
"Love. Love never dies. So their love for me is still with me." "Rue loves Mytho. And that got through all the darkness." True. "And Fakir was saved by Ahiru through her love for him. And later the same thing with her. He saved her from drowning and helped to finish what she started. All through the love they have for each other."
Autor put a hand on Katherine's cheek. "And love is what will keep your happiness alive." She smiled at him. "Thank you, Autor." She kissed his cheek and they walked to the school.
My happiness is everyone else's happiness. Soon we all will be forgotten but our souls will keep living.
