Aerrow watched as Piper approached him her hips swaying gently, her beautiful amber eyes securely fixed on his face. He smiled as she reached him and wrapped his arms around her body gently holding him to her. Silently he placed a kiss on her cheek.
She smiled and hugged him leaning her head against his chest. She sighed happily breathing in the familiar and comforting smell of him a clean soapy smell suffused with the wild smell of the Atmos skies.
"Aerrow?"
He glanced down at her with such warmth in his eyes it made her tingle all over.
"Hmmm?"
She took a breath this was something she feared yet didn't want to talk about it in front of Junko, Finn and the other Storm Hawks.
"Do you think the Cyclonians will win?"
Aerrow blinked Pipers voice was sincere, he smiled.
"Piper you know that I and every other Sky Knight and out squadrons will do whatever it takes to stop that from happening don't worry everything will be fine I promise."
She leant her head once more against his chest letting the warmth from his body warm her own.
She knew that her fear would never vanish but just being there with Aerrow seemed to make things were not so bad. Aerrow gently pulled her away from his chest and lowering his head he gently kissed her passionately on the lips. She returned the kiss.
Outside a war rage but here and everything was perfect.
