Hello everyone and welcome to this fan fiction written by me! I won't bore you with a really long speech about who I am and what the story's about, however, I will say:
Thank you to everyone who has decided to read this story and I hope you continue reading the story, even when I don't publish chapters! (I swear, it's not my fault... sometimes!)
Disclaimer: I do not own One Piece or any of Oda-sensei's characters... I own my OC's and anything that I have added that isn't in the anime.
Prologue.
"Cheers!" Various voices shouted in mirth as they chugged down glass after glass of alcohol while listening to the upbeat music played by the local band. Many people were celebrating happy hour with the only reason of having fun.
In the middle of the whole fiasco stood a woman wearing a lopsided grin, holding a half-filled mug while dancing with the many men that littered the room. Her black locks bobbed up and down from her quick movements while her chocolate-brown eyes lit up in happiness while she laughed.
This was me. A young woman at the age of 23, travelling the ocean on her lonesome to see out an adventure to her boring life. Now, you might say that a woman travelling on her own would be very dangerous, however I was not afraid. After all, I had been trained at a young age by my mother who devoted her life as a swordswoman to be treated as an equal... How she ended up with my father, I do not know - especially when their reputations were colliding with each other. He, as a Vice-Admiral in the Marines and her as a Pirate.
Anyway, my current location was a small town in the East Blue that welcomed pirates as long as they did not bother the townspeople more than necessary. It seemed like a nice place to stay - especially with how lively the locals were with their entertainment and drinking parties...
"How are you enjoying the party, Miss Aubrey?" One of the locals appeared next to me, sending me a friendly smile. Looking over to him, I thought for a moment before laughing out loud.
"I think there needs to be more Drinking!" I chimed loudly, "Also! Everyone should be singing and dancing! It's a party, is it not?"
The man laughed jollily beside me before agreeing with a "You're right!" then, grabbing a bottle of alcohol from his neighbor before filling up my glass, "CHEERS!"
"CHEERS!" I agreed before chugging down the glass.
For some reason though, I had a slight feeling that tomorrow might make things interesting... if the hangover doesn't get to me first!
END~!
Well~! I think this might be the start of a good story!
The Prologue (hopefully) gave everyone a little bit of an introduction to Monkey D. Aubrey and how her adventure begins.
If you have an interest in continuing to read about Aubrey's adventures, then by all means continue to read!
Also, please don't hesitate to review the story! Advice is definitely welcome as well as ideas, but as for flames - I would appreciate it if you keep those comments to yourself.
Ciao~!
Cattakari.
