Ch. 1
The alarms went off. The ringing screeched through my ears. "Excellent", I thought to myself as I was huffing out gasps while trying to run as fast as possible.
"Shit." Sav cursed, as if reading my thoughts. I looked up at him, he was holding himself back for me. Damn my lack of fitness(aka, my fat ass). I could see the guards rounding the corner, my heart went into overdrive. …I was going down and if he kept playing along, so was he.
"You have to go!" I screamed with my last breath, almost doubling over.
He looked at me with those melting hazel eyes. Then smirked.
Damn that son of a bitch bastard! Why the Hell is he the way he is. I looked up suddenly realizing, "Sav!"
He looked down at me in acknowledgment.
"I…I…." His eyes pierced through me like an icy bullet. I hesitated for only a moment, but it was already too late.
"LOOK-OUT!" He yelled, eyes wide.
I tripped and fell from a single piece of debris lying along the corridor and among the chambers. Sav caught me, but it helped only for serious injury. My legs scraped the floor coming to a straight stop. The guards swarmed us at all sides.
"Sav…"
" I don't want to have anything to do with you anymore." A flash of feeling shot into my brain. Blackness followed.
