#5- Seeking Solace

Disclaimer: um... I don't own it... don't put more salt in the wound...

The bitter cold air rushed onto Tsuna's face as he left the school building. He looked at the ground, his eyes filled with loneliness. 'He said he would meet me after school… since he had to see the teacher. '

He frowned looking up to the sky, 'You shouldn't of even gotten in trouble in the first place, Gokudera-kun!'

The brown haired boy lightly kicked the white powder in frustration.

"Yamamoto's taking the baseball team to the weight room, and Gokudera-kun said he would meet me at home. I guess, I'm really alone." He spoke to himself quietly, turning onto the road of the children's playground ahead of him.

He reached the entrance, planning to cut through the park, to escape the cold air. In which, slowly stealing away the warmth from the tip of his nose and fingers, and also the edge of his ears.

Everything beautifully blanketed with white snow, despite the dropping temperatures, winter's scenery was truly a sight to behold. The snow reflected the shadow's of the clouds passing by, which were moving at great speed with the wind.

"It's s magnificent, I wish Gokudera-kun and Yamamoto were able to see this… " Tsuna spoke in awe.

"Well I don't know about the baseball-nut, but I'm here." The familiar voice startled the Mafia heir out of his awestruck state.

"Gokudera-kun! What a surprise! I thought you were supposed to meet me at home?" The shorter boy asked, looking at Gokudera questioningly.

His next action startled dynamite specialist, causing him to blush. Tsuna unbuttoned his jacket, and zippered his sweater to his collarbone, and buttoning up the jacket up with each button in the right place, also pulling to hood over Gokudera's head.. Performing it hastily, so he wouldn't freeze his fingers.

"You'll catch a cold if you don't keep yourself covered properly." Tsuna spoke with a parenting-type tone, while cupping his hands over his mouth, exhaling the warm his hands and stuffed them back into his coat pockets.

"Same as to you, Judaime." Gokudera stepped closer to the 10th and brushed off snow from untamed spiky brown hair, also the light blue hood over his head and lightly kissed him on the forehead.

"Tsuna." He said in reply, "Tsu-na." blushing lightly, missing the warmth from the soft lips. Gokudera smiled, "Gokudera."

He offered his hand, and Tsuna accepted, intertwining together, to keep their cold hands warm.

a/n: My mom tells me every morning 'double your jacket' or 'don't forget' and, it's non-stop snowing since nine o'clock this morning. So, interpret my 'Solace' as to whatever you find explains itself to you.
