A/N: I heard something like this on TV and felt like doing some dialogue.
"People get killed in wars, Sodapop."
"I have no problem sacrificing myself, it's my job"
"No, you're job is here, with me, with your family! How can you say that?"
"Look, I don't have a choice! I'm doing it for you June! For us!"
"How is going to war and getting killed going to help us, Soda?"
"By protecting this country I'm protecting you, June! Why can't you see that?"
"I do see that! But why can't you stay here? They have plenty of soldiers going to war already! They don't need you, I need you!"
"Calm down, baby. You'll hurt yourself."
"No, Soda. I'm not going to calm down! You're going to war, you're leaving! What am I suppose to do?"
"You're going to have our beautiful baby, that's what."
"What if I don't want this baby?"
"You don't really mean that, June, do you?"
"I don't know, I can't rise this kid without you, though. I don't know the first thing about kids!"
"Is that all you're worrying about? You'll be a great mother, darling."
"That's not just all I'm worrying about, Soda! I don't want to lose you!"
"You won't."
"You can't promise that."
"You're right, I can't. But I'll try. I'll write to you, and I'll come home."
"Just stay."
"I can't and you know that."
"Soda..."
"I gotta get ready, the guys will be here soon."
"Sodapop."
"I love you, Junebug."
