Just a little oneshot that has been tormenting me for some time.. (for those who wonder about "invisible face in the mirror", I'll update it, when I have time... - strangles school-)

Disclaimer: Poor me... I'll just buy the mangas...

Voice of an angel, voice of a devil

Little Satoshi Hikari has a voice inside his head. He can't remember when it came to him and he doesn't understand why. Sometimes, when he looks in the mirror, an angel looks back at him.

'Hello, Satoshi-sama.'

He smiles.

"It's a curse", he was told, but he just didn't understand.

'How can you be a curse?' He asked the angel, who smiled saddened back at him, wings glowing pure white. 'It's nonsense.' He said, reaching out and touching that beautiful face in the mirror. 'How can they say you're a curse?'

'No worries, you'll understand, Satoshi-sama.'

'But I don't.' The little boy said.

'Don't call me "Satoshi-sama," he laughs. 'It sounds so strange!'

'You're my everything.' The angel told him, holding the smaller boy tenderly in his arms. Little Satoshi cuddles closer and looks up at those golden eyes. He knows he is safe, here, in this world of white and gold.

'Who's Dark?' He asked his "father", frowning a bit at the soft sign his angel makes. When he asks what was wrong, he receives a kind, warm smile and a 'Nothing, Satoshi.', a mask that's about to break.

Satoshi Hiwatari has a voice inside his head. He doesn't want to remember when it came to him and he doesn't want to understand why. Sometimes, when he looks in the mirror, a devil looks back at him.

'Hello, Satoshi-sama.'

He shudders.

"It's a curse", he was told, and he smiled bitter when he remembered that.

'You are...' He doesn't look at the mirror, for he hates what he sees.

'Told you so, Satoshi-sama.'

'What do you mean?' He snapped, but the devil just stayed silent.

'Don't call me "Satoshi-sama!" He hisses. 'You don't respect me at all!'

'You're my everything.' The devil told him, holding the smaller boy possessively in his arms. Satoshi ignores him after glaring at those burning, mocking golden eyes. He knows he'll never be safe, here, in this world of white and gold.
