Memories.
She looked up once more to the sky before turning. She looked at the Bay and smiled some. Even out here, she could hear the bickering of her clan. Her family.
She chuckled some and shook her head. She kicked the giant once more before stripping off her armor. She sat on the giant's chest and began cleaning the blood and mess from her armor. The ship moved silently through the water into her view and out once more. Heading back to Ratchet. Heading for more passengers with even more stories then she could imagine.
She shook her head from these thoughts and looked at the sun again. Beginning to set. She put the armor in her pack and pulled on her normal clothes. The bickering had died down some.
"Probably started drinking. I should head in before bad things happen." She said softly, chuckling. She knew the clan would survive without her. She was not the Chief. She wasn't a captain. She was no one of rank. She was a simple recruit.
She sighed some and dipped back into the water, swimming towards the Bay. She dipped down before surfacing once more, her hair now slicked back. She paused and looked at a pair of feet… before looking up and seeing a face.
She knew that face.
"Hallo, Love…" The face said softly.
She smiled some and pushed her hair back. "Can I get a spell?"
The troll thought for a moment before nodding, as if he were not going to do it unless she asked. He stepped back a few paces from her and threw his hand up while muttering.
She rose to the top of the water and grinned. "It's appreciated."
He nodded some before pulling her close in an embrace. "You're shivering."
A hand raised and indeed she was shaking. There was a long pause before she chuckled. "It's windy today. I suppose." She wrapped her arms around him and nuzzled his frame.
"I think it's more then that. I think.. were you crying out on the Point?" He asked softly as he moved away just a fraction so he could lift her chin so she would look into his face.
"I don't think I was." She said honestly. She leaned upwards on her toes and offered her lips.
There was a moment's hesitation before he leaned down and kissed her as well. "Spirits told me you needed me. I was heading out to see you."
"Tell the Spirits. I don't need help." She said softly, stroking his cheek. "I need answers. A commitment."
His face skewed some in thought. "Answers… to what? A commitment to what?"
Her eyes lidded and sighed. "The Spirits know. I know…. Somewhere you might know… but for now… You don't. Maybe one day you'll realize.."
His face skewed again before sighing some. "I'm the mystic. I talk in riddles."
She chuckled gently and shook her head. "Shamans aren't the only ones with connections to something that they cannot see." She winked at him and ducked his grip, running to reach the land before the spell wore out.
Feet pressed against hard wood. She knelt down and traced a knot. Meaning in nothing she supposed. She smiled some and looked back at the shaman who was staring at her. She pointed down. He blinked a moment before looking down.
As if by magic.. some force unseen, the spell gave out. Before he could shout, a mouth full of sea water and most likely a tastyfish.
She chuckled and shook her head. She turned and walked up the ramps silently.
One foot after the other. Silent. Deadly. She brushed past Alliance, past traitors, liars and frauds.
Her arms wrapped around another woman's neck and she kissed her cheek.
"The giant has been conquered and I need booze."
The other woman paused and looked at the woman behind her. "Get your own damn booze. And quit picking on that giant." She grinned. "You have to give up some past grudges, Mihani."
Mihani grinned and winked. "You speak blasphemy.."
