ROB/STAR NO FLAMES PLEZE. Only advice and comments pleze.
He sat in his room on the worst day ever. The anniversary of his parents death. Robin couldn't help but be cranky & moody on this day, he wanted them back so much. He clutched two photos in his hands.
"Don't cry, Robin. Get a hold of yourself. You can't cry you're a hero. Heroes don't cry." Robin scolded himself for wanting to cry. Suddenly he couldn't fight the urge any longer. One tear fell, followed by another, then another. He removed his mask so the tears could flow freely he didn't care anymore. He wanted to cry now; he wanted to let all the tears he's held back free. Suddenly the silent crying turned into gentle sobbing.
Starfire walked through the halls toward Robin's room. She wanted to know if he would take her to the mall. She stopped infront of his door to hear muffled sobbing on the other side. Robin…..was…..CRYING!! It couldn't be Robin never cried he was much too strong & stubborn to cry.
"Robin." Starfire whispered in a worried voice. She knew if she knocked on the door 7 asked him what was wrong he would shun her out. So instead she walked in hoping to help Robin in his time of despair.
"Robin?" asked Starfire beyond worried. Robin looked up from his current position to see a worried Starfire.
"STARFIRE!!" Robin screamed shocked. He squirmed around looking for his mask. He found it and placed it on his face. "Star, get out." He said firmly.
"Robin, you are….crying." Starfire said walking up to robin. Robin backed away.
"LEAVE." Robin said firmly pointing to the door.
"No, Robin….you are hurt…I wish to help." Starfire said almost in tears.
"Starfire… trust me, you can't help me." Robin said more calmly.
"Let me try." Starfire said warmly "Tell me."
"Star….it's just…today is well….the anniversary of …my parents….death" Robin said in a voice below a whisper but still audible. Starfire was speech less. "Star it hurts so bad to know that they're gone; to have to have seen them die."
"Robin." Starfire said softly. "You look at this as all completely bad, Robin. But there is a good side to all things bad. If it weren't for their death you would have never become a hero nor would you know any of the Titans"
"and I wouldn't have met you." Robin said in a lovesick voice. Starfire smiled warmly at Robin.
"I shall be leaving you now leave you to ponder upon the words I have just spoken to you about." She was about to leave when robin called her back.
"Star."
"Yes, Robin?"
"Thanks." He gave her a quick yet lingering hug. She smiled and walked out. Robin looked at the two pictures he clutched. One was of his mom & dad holding each other and the other of his mom & dad holding a little baby with sapphire eyes. He smiled then put the pictures away hoping to never have to cry over them again.
"Thanks, Star." He whispered.
