Summary: Castiel was an obedient son, even though he had never meet his father or spoke to him, he believed that he was there and that he cared. So when Raphael and Zachariah arrived in heaven with a four year-old human child with them, calling it heaven's weapon, he didn't question it.
Castiel was an obedient son, even though he had never meet his father or spoke to him, he believed that he was there and that he cared. So when Raphael and Zachariah arrived in heaven with a four year-old human child with them, calling it heaven's weapon, he didn't question it.
At least he didn't until he discovered the child hiding inside of Joshua's garden. "You shouldn't be in here," he stated as he paused in front of the crying boy.
"I wanna go home," he whispered as he glanced up at the angel. "I don't like it here."
"Child you can not go home," Castiel stated as he frowned as though in deep thought.
"Why not?"
"Do you know where you lived?"
"No."
"Your name?"
The child replied, "They call me the weapon or the sword," he stated as though he thought one of them WAS his name.
"Those are not names," Castiel stated as he realized that something was seriously wrong with the child. Someone must have erased his memories, but the only ones who could do that were the Arch Angels, and only on their father's orders.
"Oh," the child replied. "Can you give me one?"
Castiel was quiet as he thought of the stories of the bible, "Jacob."
"Jacob," the newly named Jacob smiled through his tears. "What's your name?"
"Castiel."
