A Sabin/Shelly one-shot. This is true love, baby.

Moaning in irritation, Alex Shelley rolled around his bed, gnawing on his blankets in frustration. He was bored as hell, and wanted nothing more than to hear from someone, anyone, so he didn't have to sit around his house and do absolutely nothing. He had sent text messages to everyone on his contact list, and hadn't received on reply all day.
Some fair weather friends, he grumbled to himself.

Pulling himself off of the bed, he wandered into the kitchen and opened the fridge, eyeing its empty contents critically. He slammed the fridge door shut and padded out into the living room before hearing a knock at the front door. The knocks were insistent and annoying, and Alex knew exactly who they belonged to. Sneaking up to the door, he carefully slid the chain up, crept away, and then yelled, "Its open!"
The resulting crash and shout of "You bastard!" made Alex bust out laughing, and he stumbled back into the hallway and unhooked the chain, wiping tears from his eyes. Opening the door, he reveled a glaring Chris Sabin.
"I am not amused."
"That's what you get for knocking like a hyperactive six-year-old," Alex retorted, leading the way into the living room.
"I do not!" Chris muttered indignantly as he plopped onto the couch next to his tag-team partner. Sprawling comfortably, he threw his feet across Alex's lap and reached for the TV remote. "I just knock with enthusiasm."
Alex snorted back his laughter and shook his head as he tried wresting the remote from his friend's grasp.
"It's true! I was just so excited to see you, my dearest, darlingest buddy ole' pal!"
"Yeah, yeah, say what you want," Alex grunted as he struggled with Chris, who was successfully guarding the remote and simultaneously flipping through the channels.
Grabbing the blonde's arm, Alex pulled on his friend's shirt until he lost his balance, causing him to land across his chest.

Groaning, Alex sighed. "Oh I give up," he muttered as Chris gave a triumphant laugh.
"Revenge is sweet, no?" he said smugly, nuzzling his dark-haired partner's neck and shifting to a more comfortable position.
Feeling his lover's body shuffle against his, Alex couldn't help but agree.
Remote in hand, Chris continued channel surfing before settling on Judge Judy.
The brunette eyed him suspiciously. "Are you seriously serious?"
Chris nodded emphatically, his shaggy bangs tickling Alex's collar bone. "Hell yeah! This woman will tear you a new one, it's awesome!"
Shaking his head, Alex rolled his eyes but said nothing as the show cut to commercial.
Staring at the television screen, Chris giggled. Glancing up, the dark-eyed Machine Gun saw a Burger King ad. "What's so funny?"
"Nothing, I just love this commercial, that's all."
Alex watched as a dark-haired man fed a BK hamburger to his shaggy-haired companion.
"Now that's true love," Chris sighed happily. "Would you ever hold my hamburger like that for me?" he questioned, looking up at his partner and fluttering his eyelashes coquettishly.
Alex grinned as he gently brushed his lips across Chris' forehead, nose and cheeks. "Well yeah, that's true love after all, right?"

Ha, this commercial inspired me for this…don't those guys kind of look like how Patrick Martin and Josh Harter might look like in a few years? LOL. Or maybe it's just me…
