Come to Bed

Patty Thompson was not one to get annoyed easily. She usually smiled and laughed no matter what was thrown her way. Whether it be a cute puppy walking on the sidewalk or her sister falling into a trapdoor inside a haunted pirate ship, she always kept her attitude positive, firmly believing that a positive attitude could get you anywhere.

However, that theory was quickly being dissolved by the second as she kept looking at Death the Kid reorganizing his bathroom. Patty knew to expect this coming from the symmetry obsessed teen, but this was getting ridiculous.

"Deathy, you've been in the bathroom for over an hour. Can't you come to bed with your loving girlfriend?" Patty cooed as she started rolling around on the bed, looking up at the ceiling.

"I'll be with you soon, Patty. I just want to make sure that my medicine cabinet is absolutely symmetrical," Kid responded, focusing on the inside of the cabinet with a vial of medicine in his hand.

Patty puffed her cheeks in a huff before burying her face into the pillow. After another five minutes of waiting, Patty got up from the bed, and stomped over to the bathroom. When she saw Kid with the same vial in his hands, she lifted Kid on her shoulders in a Fireman's Carry and dropped him on their bed with an Attitude Adjustment.

"Patty, what is the meaning of this!? I was almost done making the medicine cabinet absolutely symmetrical and it was looking almost as beautiful as you," Kid exclaimed, causing Patty to blush slightly. But Patty wasn't going to easily lose focus this time.

"Don't think you can butter me up, Deathy. I've been waiting for you for almost two hours, and I need my daily dose of Deathy cuddles. Now you're going to get under the covers, stay there, worry about the stupid medicine cabinet tomorrow, and cuddle with my under the blanket. Are we clear!?" Patty explained, pushing her face a few centimeters away from Kid's frightened face.

"Ye…I…well…uh…" Kid stammered, not expecting to see this side of his girlfriend, who was normally air headed, but cheerful.

"I SAID ARE WE CLEAR!?" Patty screamed in Kid's face, who nodded vigorously in response. Seeing Kid's response, Patty's face went back to its normal smiling form, before she cuddled Kid's arm and nuzzled her cheek on that same arm. It took a few moments for Kid to regain his composure, but when he did, he hugged Patty back, and the two fell asleep in each other's arms.
