Chapter 1: The Birth of Inazuma Japan
-One month ago-
-Moscow, Russia-
-Russia's Jr. High Soccer Tournament-
"We're entering the loss time, the score is still 0-0, a last attack for Alikovo Jr. High!" The commentator shouted.
A blue-haired boy wearing a white uniform with the number six on the back was dribbling with the ball, he was surrounded by three players but he got past them swiftly.
"Oh! A brillant display from the Japanese midfielder, Ichihoshi Mitsuru! There's just thirty seconds left, can he score ?"
The boy -now known as Ichihoshi- made a pass to the striker who shot as soon as the ball reached him, but the ball hit the woodwork.
"Oh, what a shame! That was a great chance for Alikovo Jr. High! Looks like we'll have to go to the penalty shoot-outs. No, wait! Ichihoshi and Arshivan Jr. High's keeper are rushing for the ball, who will reach it first ?"
Ichihoshi was faster than the keeper and did a beautiful chip shoot which went above the keeper and stabbed the net.
"G-GOAL! Ichihoshi scored at the very last moment, and the referee whistled three times announcing the end of the match, Alikovo Jr. High are the champions! Congratulations!"
"I did it!" Ichihoshi roared and jumped from joy as his teammates rushed for him.

-Tokyo, Japan-
-Football Frontier Stadium-
The stadium was filled with the crowd's cheers. The Football Frontier Stadium hasn't been filled ever since the final of the Jr. High schools tournament between Inakuni Raimon and Outei Tsukinomiya. However, today is a much bigger event, the eighteen members which will represent Inazuma Japan will be announced.
In the crowd was many candidates of the teams from many schools from all over the country, the Association of Japan's Youth Soccer invited around 50 candidates that performed well in the Football Frontier competitions.
Among those candidates were eight members from Inakuni Raimon.
"The time has finally came." Asuto said.
"Inazuma Japan will be without Endou-san, Kidou-san, Gouenji-san and the rest of the third year students." Hiura stated.
"Look at it from the bright side, that means we have more chances to be in the team and maybe even some of us will be regulars." Mansaku replied.
"Yeah." Kozoumaru agreed. "We're the Football Frontier champions after all." He added.
"They announced yesterday that Inazuma Japan's coach is Kidokawa Seishuu's coach, Nikaidou Shuugo." Norika stated.
"And Seishou Gakuen's coach Kudou will be the assistant coach." Haizaki added.
"Doesn't that mean you've got a better chance of being there ?" Hattori asked.
"No, both coaches are strict and will think of just the team's future." Haizaki replied.
'I hope we'll be selected.' Asuto prayed silently.

Nikaidou Shuugo walked to the pitch alongside Kudou, the cheers grew louder as he stopped walking and was about to start talking.
"I am Nikaidou Shuugo, I have been given the duty to be Inazuma Japan's coach and lead it to the world stage." Nikaidou started. "And now, I'll name the eighteen players who will represent Japan." He continued.
The world seemed to stop around the stadium as Nikaidou opened his mouth, you can feel the tension there from miles away.
"First off Goal Keepers: Nishikage Seiya and Umihara Norika".
"Defenders: Sakanoue Noboru, Mansaku Yuuichirou, Mizukamiya Seiryuu, Hadeno Tetsu, Iwato Takashi."
"Midfielders: Ichihoshi Mitsuru, Hiura Kirina, Kiyama Tatsuya, Nosaka Yuuma, Shiratoya Nae, and the Captain, Inamori Asuto."
"Forwards: Kira Hiroto, Haizaki Ryouhei, Fubuki Atsuya, Kozoumaru Sasuke, that's all!"

"Alright! I am in Inazuma Japan!" Asuto exclaimed.
"We're all chosen, but who would've thought that Asuto will be the captain." Hiura stated.
"You were selected too, Fatso ?" Haizaki mocked Kozoumaru.
"Well to be honest, I didn't except a weak-ass like you would've been chosen alongside me." Kozoumaru mocked back.

"We did it, Atsuya!" Nae cheered.
"Of course, How could Japan go far without their best striker ?" Atsuya boasted.
-Inazuma Town's Hospital-
"Even me..." Nishikage said.
Nosaka smiled. "Congratulations, Nishikage."
Nishikage smiled back. "Thank you."

"Damn, I wasn't selected. " Midorikawa cursed. "Congratulations, Hiroto, Tatsuya."
"Don't give up, Midorikawa. There's still a chance after the Asian preliminaries." Tatsuya comforted.
Kira smirked. "Finally, the world is about to see the might of the God Stri-"

"The chosen players have changed into Japan's beautiful blue uniform, what a sight we are seeing right now!" The commentator admired.
"There's even more further happy news, the FFI preliminaries will be held in Japan!" He added.
'I did, Mom.' Asuto said in his thoughts.

Inazuma Japan's bus arrived at the campgrounds, where they'll live in at the moment. It was a beautiful place with Mt. Fuji at the background.
As the Inazuma Japan members were admiring the view, Ichihoshi got from the bus. Asuto noticed that and rushed to him.
"You must be that guy from Russia, right ? I am Inamori Asuto." Asuto greeted him and reached his hand for a handshake.
"Oh sorry, I didn't introduce myself. I am Ichihoshi Mitsuru, I used to play in a Russian Jr. High School." Ichihoshi introduced himself.
"Oh, you are not by chance that midfielder who scored the goal in the Russian Jr. High tournament final ?" Hiura asked.
"Yeah, I am surprised you knew that." Ichihoshi said.
"I studied teams from Europe to see their play styles. We're gonna need that sooner or later." Hiura replied.
"Let's work hard from now on, Ichihoshi! To make Japan aim for the FFI!" Asuto said as he beamed to Ichihoshi.
Ichihoshi smiled at him "Sure."

-Inside the Camp-
"Hello Everyone, I am Nikaidou Shuugo, Inazuma Japan's coach, this is my assistant coach, Kudou Michiya." He said as he pointed to Kudou, who greeted the players.
"We also have Raimon's managers with us, Mikado Anna and Ootani Tsukushi." He said as he pointed to them.
"Pleasure to meet you!" The players greeted.
After that, Kudou explained the camp's rules to the players, and said that whoever will not follow them will be kicked out of the team.
"Finally," Nikaidou started. "You will have a training match after three days, prepare yourself well, all of you will have a chance to prove himself. " He added.
"Who are our opponents ?" Mizukamiya asked.
"Malaysia's team, The Malayan Tigers." Nikaidou answered.
Asuto grinned "Our first match...".
"We'll soon play in Japan's blue uniform." Mansaku said.
"We'll definitely win!" Hiura declared.
"Yeah!"
"We'll start training tomorrow, the Asian preliminaries will start after one week, that's all for today. You're dismissed!"
-Three Days Later-
-Friendly Match-
-Japan VS Malaysia-
"Football Frontier International, the biggest soccer tournament in the world for youth players! The Asian qualifications will take place soon, so Japan and Malaysia have to prepare for them, so today. We have this friendly match! Inazuma Japan will be facing The Malayan Tigers!" The commentator shouted.
Asuto looked at his uniform and the captain band. "We're representing Japan..."
"We finally did it, Asuto!" Hiura said as he walked to him, reaching his hand for a high five.
"Inazuma Japan's coach Nikaidou has summoned Seishou Gakuen's midfielder Orio Fuyuki replacing the injured Nosaka Yuuma, and today he's a starter! What kind of play will he show us ?" The commentator stated.

The players then entered the pitch, after the handshake, the referee did the coin toss. It was decided that Malaysia will have the kick-off. Everyone then got in position.
The referee's whistle announced the start of the match. The Malayan Tigers did the kick-off, The two forwards referee's sent the ball to the captain and the game maker Hakim.
Hakim passed it to the right midfielder Akmal, Malaysia slowly circulated the ball in their own half.
Hafezo tried to pass to Sukari but Asuto interrupted it, Both forwards were marked by Said and Karim, so that left Asuto with just the central defender Mansor.
[Inabikari Dash!] Asuto easily got past him.
Asuto kicked the ball up with a knee then a kick upwards. He then jumped up following the ball. He ten did a bicycle kick while a golden beam followed the ball with golden birds surrounding it.
[Shining Bird!]
Nazrel tried to catch the ball with both hands but failed to do so.
"GOOOAL! In less than one minute, Inazuma Japan quickly scores the first goal by the captain Inamori Asuto!" The commentator celebrated.
Asuto jumped throwing his fist up in a victory pose, His teammates surrounded him.
"You did it, Asuto!" Hiura praised.
"Our first national goal..." Kiyama stated.
"You stole the spotlight, Bastard." Haizaki teased.
Asuto grinned. "Alright everyone, let's score more goals!" He said.
"Yeah!"
The match resumed, Malaysia did the kick-off again. They tried to build up the attack only for Haizaki to steal it again.
Haizaki jumped in the air and crossed his arms. He then uncrossed them while screaming summoning penguins that went for the ball giving it a yellow energy. Haizaki turned and kicked the ball while the penguins came out of it. The penguins then got absorbed back into the ball, creating a golden penguin.
[Perfect Penguin!]
"GOOOAL! The second goal after just a few seconds!"
The match then went easier for Inazuma Japan.

-One Hour later-
"And the match's end! Inazuma Japan completely thrashed The Malayan Tigers with a complete 8-0 victory! Even the substitute players managed to score!" The commentator shouted.
Asuto jumped. "Alright! Our first victory!"
Haizaki smirked and crossed his arms. "Looks like the Asian preliminaries will be a walk in the park." He added arrogantly.
Nikaidou walked up to his players. "Congratulations on the win." He started. "But, don't let it go for your ?head. Our opponents in the Asian preliminaries are much stronger than that." He added.
Asuto's grin quickly faded. "Eh ? Really ?"
"Yeah, we'll have a meeting as soon as we reach the campgrounds. Until then, you're free." Nikaidou replied.

-One hour later-
Inazuma Japan's members were having a meeting, studying their possible opponents. Currently, they were watching a tape of a friendly match between South Korea and Iran.
South Korea's ace striker was dribbling the Iranian defenders.
"Amazing dribble!" Asuto exclaimed.
"No, the defenders' pressure is great. He can't get past them!" Mizukamiya retorted.
The ace managed to see a gap and passed for the other forward who kicked with all his might. But Iran's goalkeeper managed to catch it.
"Impressive kick power from the forward." Atsuya noted.
"The keeper's timing was great too." Nishikage added.
"We underestimated the Asian-level." Hiura realized.
"That's right." Nikaidou agreed. "I actually lied when I said Malaysia was a strong candidate in the Asian preliminaries. They're not even participating." He added.
"Eh!?" Everyone exclaimed in shock.
"I wanted you to focus when playing, If I told you that they were weak, You'd have underestimated them and may have even lost." Nikaidou stated.
"Then in those remaining three days..." Asuto realized.
"You'll have a special training." Kudou declared. "Prepare yourself." He added.
"Yes, sir!

-Next Day, 06:00AM-
Haizaki woke up early, it wasn't usual for the Devil of the Field but today he has a reason. 'I must come up with a new hissatsu shoot quickly.' Haizaki realized.
After the meeting, Haizaki spent the night analyzing the Asian keepers and the forwards. He was so shocked by the fact that the forwards' hissatsu shoots were at least x3 times stronger than his [Perfect Penguin] and any Asian keeper could've stopped it.
'Today is the draw of the groups and there's just Today days until the first match.' He thought.
Haizaki got up and prepared himself, As he was heading to the campgrounds' field. He heard some noise from the field. 'Who could be here this early ?' He wondered.
As he got close he saw a familiar figure. 'Asuto ? Why is he practicing this early ?'
Haizaki continued watching him for a minute, it looked like Asuto was trying a hissatsu technique but he was failing each time.
'That doesn't look like [Shining Bird], Could it be... ?'
A yellow energy reflected in Haizaki's eyes cut his thoughts and made him open his mouth in shock. 'What the hell was that !?'
