Diary of a Dead Girl

It's quiet here. Well it's always quiet here; all I can hear is the washing of the waves around me. The smell of salt wafts up my nose into my lungs, and
every breathe I savor. The sun heats the water around me and I am at peace, ready to take my final adventure. The invisible rays rest on my face, comforting me for this last leg of the journey. With one last long breathe I let go, say goodbye of everything and everyone who was ever part of my life. I let myself go flat and let the water pull my down to its depths. I feel the warm water closer over my hair up to my ears. Closing my eyes I relax and let it climb up to my mouth and over my nose, allowing no more air to pass through my lips. I open my eyes to see a completely new world, an untouched paradise left to grow without the pain of our human touch. I always loved the sea, to be a fish has always been my dream. Their so carefree swimming and floating all day, their only concern is a passing fisherman's boat. They don't have to live in the torment of society. Where people are ridiculed and judged to make others feel better. Or used for someone's sick pleasures. It's been twenty seconds since fresh air has passed through to my lungs. And I continue to sink, the warm water turns to ice cold and my skin begins to burn. I look up to see a glowing orb, a silent reminder to stay calm and allow the water to take me. Something scratches at my heels then I feel the tickle of fingers on my back. I look to the side and see a beautiful green arm stretch passed my eyes. Finally I feel my dorsal side press into the sand. As my head touches the bottom and it molds to my cranium. I look up and see the yellow orb again; it's like and abstract painting of green arms stretching up to a beautiful angel, to a hero, to my savior.
