He was starring over the city on top of the tallest building. His coat rustling in the wind covering him entirely. His dark eyes intensely roaming the area scanning, as if looking for something specific. All that he saw and heard was the incessant noise of cars going by in the traffic below along with the chatter of a million people all at once.

A door opened behind him abruptly. He kept staring out not moving at all "Hey! What are you doing here?" a voice from behind him was heard along with his heavily breathing from walking all the stairs. "Hey no one's supposed to be up here. This is a restricted area."

He stood in the same position looking over the city. He seemed to be rooted in one place. The security guard placed a hand over on his waist band where his tazer was located. He didn't want to use it or at least yet.

"Look I'll be nice and just let ya go with just a warning just step away from the ledge and come down. I don't want any trouble. . ." He seemed to just take a step forward closer to the edge.

"Hey! Stop there!" the security guard took a step forward towards the being but stopped as soon as the being look at him finally making some movement. He stared at his eyes and felt chills. It wasn't the wind that caused him to be like this he knew that much. There was something about the being. It was those black eyes looking intently at his own as if looking at something within him. He couldn't move all he could do was just stare at the man on the ledge.

"Enjoy your last moments," was all the man said in a hoarse low voice the security thought that maybe he imagined it but the voice stayed in his mind. Then the man abruptly threw down his jacket that was taken by the wind to reveal wings on his back that were bigger than the being itself. He threw himself off the ledge leaving the security guard standing alone shaking.

When he saw him jump off, he unfroze and ran towards the ledge looking over just to see a few feathers wafting in the cold November air.
