Jaehee didn't move away. Instead, she leaned even closer, closing the gap between her and you.
"I'm.. Starting to want more than just a friendly bond with you."
Her voice was so soft, yet clear in your ears. Your heart was thumping so loud that you were almost sure Jaehee could hear it as well. But instead of pushing her away, you took both of her cheeks in your hands and smiled gently as you ignore how red your face were.
"I do feel the same way, Jaehee."
Your answer was simple, yet clear. You could see how red Jaehee's face were, not much of a difference from yours. You giggled at her cute reaction, breaking away the tense between both of you as Jaehee started to laugh as well.
That moment, you knew what Jaehee was going to do. She looked at you straight in the eyes as her lips curled into a smile. It was rare to see her smile like that, which was why it melts your heart to know that you were the reason why a smile is right on her face.
You began to close your eyes as Jaehee's lips finally touched yours. The softness of her lips, the warmth of her body, her soft breath and little gasps. All of them made you realize, that you had fallen deeper for this woman.
As her lips parted from yours, she smiled at you once more and whispered the words you've been waiting for these whole time.
