(a/n - so I've just had a Starbucks Seattle latte fuelled Keeping Up Appearances and Bread marathon. Oh, the joys of procrastination! And I decided to browse ffn. Then I realised that some of my favourite characters from KUA don't get as much recognition as they deserve! They either don't have fics about them or aren't even on the character list! So, here are various drabble diary entries from the views of various characters, all focused upon their view of our beloved Hyacinth. This should hopefully be a tool to help me combat writer's block also. We shall start with one of my all time favourite characters who is way too underappreciated...)

Dear Diary...

Mrs Councillor Newgent.

Dear Diary,

I cannot believe the blasted cheek of that Bucket woman! I mean, she's all well and good with helping with the charity shop and everything but she's got a cheek sometimes! Why on earth would I want to spend time at a candlelight supper? Frivolous things. Almost as bad as that time some trollop donated their degrading undergarments to the charity shop! If you can call them undergarments. They couldn't even suffice as dusters! I sorted that one out though. Simplicity is the way of life. Hence the cheek of the woman! The cheek! A candlelight supper? What a waste! I would much rather spend my evening ironing my garments and making up a hot water bottle. Apparently some rich sister would be there. Money is all well and good, but charity is the way forward. I bet the pony isn't laughing. I sincerely hope the dratted woman will be signing up for future charity shop sessions. That will be the last time I help out her husband with his filming! That was enormously funny though... Alas, I should go now! Goodnight, diary.
