DISCLAMER- I do not own Naruto, but I do own oc Yukiko

Jiraiya couldn't believe it was happening. Shikamaru Nara had proposed to his daughter, Yukiko, and in a few months she would then be Yukiko Nara. She was also with child, well two children to be exact. That means he would be a grandfather. So she wouldn't be his little girl anymore. He sat on the bridge watching the water flow below him, beautiful and graceful like Yukiko herself.

He then felt a presence. "Who's there?" he asked harshly, not in the mood to be perverted or happy go lucky.

"Bad day?" A taunting female voice said, making him turn around. His eyes softened when he saw it was only Yukiko. He looked hard at her, seeing the difference between when she was little and now at the simple age of 19 years old.

He sighed loudly and turned back around. He couldn't bare to look at her. He heard footsteps and the creak of the wood as she sat next to him on the bridge. It was silent for a few moments before he heard her take a breath and speak "Dad, I know why your out here and I will marry Shikamaru even if you don't like it."

She looked at him; he also turned to look at her. His eyes held sorrow, but hers held determination. Her eyes were a soft golden brown just like Tsunade's were.

He chuckled but it was humorless, and he looked back at the water. "So you know why I am here?" He asked in a mocking tone. She growled and squared her father in the cheek. He fell quickly to the ground behind him.

She jumped down and looked at him. "Dad, quit drowning you self in sadness. I'm not dead, I'm just getting married," Yukiko said as she helped him up. He looked at her, his eyes emotionless.

Then suddenly, he wrapped his arms around her. "Dad?" she asked, shocked. "What are you doing?"

"You're right, but somehow you did die. You're not my little girl anymore," he said and a small sob was wrenched from his throat. She pulled back and looked at him, the man she once knew, as he stood there crying.

"Dad, look at me," Yukiko said sadly. She now understood why he was here; it wasn't that he didn't want her marrying Shikamaru. It was the fact he thought she wasn't his little girl anymore. Jiraiya looked at her, his black eyes met her golden brown ones. "Dad I am always gonna be your little girl on the inside, but on the outside I am a woman about to be married and have children," she said as she rubbed her now 8 months size stomach. He looked at her, understanding what she meant.

"I guess I'm just overreacting a bit," he said, laughing.

Yukiko started laughing as well and hugged her father. "Now lets go before I'm late for my own wedding," she told him. Jiraiya looked skeptical but noticed what she was wearing: a white kimono with golden flowers on it. Her hair had been put up in a bun with chopsticks, and she looked absolutely gorgeous.

As they were walking Jiraiya beamed as the came in view of the church, and he offered her his arm and they walked in. Just before Yukiko said 'I do' he remembered what she said.

"I am always gonna be your little girl."
