Final Goodbye
He sat by the open window, the wind and the rain hitting his face as the fierce storm howled right before him, but still seemingly just out of his reach. These days the rain always brought a heavy, suffocating feeling to his heart, a painful reminder of him and how everything around him had shattered into thousands of tiny pieces sharp enough to tear everything up so badly that the scars would never heal.
It had been almost three years since he'd last seen him. Now the time was nearing its end, his soul was going to die soon even though his body would still continue living. His beautiful dark angel would be gone, and the ugly snake would taint the lovely body with its endless hunger for power.
Silently mourning, he closed his eyes and squeezed the scratched leaf hitai-ate more tightly in his fists as he whispered the final goodbye into the wind, hoping it would be carried over to the person that held, and always would hold, his heart.
"Goodbye, Sasuke-teme."
