Hi! This is TheGoatBoat writing. This is my first fanfiction so don't leave hate comments, but you can leave suggestions on how I should write the story. I wanted to write this since I became interested in fanfics just recently but got lazy and just kept reading other fanfics, getting frustrated with the 'Destroy The Train' mission in Megaman Zero, trying to find a Ralts in Pokémon Emerald for half an hour, mastering the art of 'Keyboard Street Fighting' (playing Street Fighter games with a keyboard), watching some AVGN, Nostalgia Critic, Matthew Santoro, and listening to Gorrilaz. Man, I just explained myself in a nutshell.

Two people have already given me advice and warnings about surviving this site by the time I started to write this. Shoutout to Warhammer4life and Fire4Heaven. Anyway, yeah, this is the first chapter. I will explain the story of how Darrith and Lucy met in this chapter and probably the next chapter.

???'s POV

I can't see, I was exhausted, I was lying on my stomach, my entire body hurts like hell, its also raining which is wet and cold, but before I could stand up, I held under the thing covering my face and I see a glimpse of a picnic basket that looked like it was thrown there and I saw some trees, and after that I passed out, probably from exhaustion.

Darrith's POV

I was sleeping nicely in my soft, warm, and cozy bed until I hear my mom yell "Honey! You need to get down here and help me pack up these boxes. Remember we're leaving in just 2 DAYS!" I violently wake up after 'Honey' and after she spoke and I looked at my alarm clock. 12:59AM!!!! "Mom! Its still midnight, I'll do it tomorrow!" I wen't back to bed, but when it hit 1AM my mom violently opened the door greeting me with a happy smile "Its tomorrow! And that means you'll be helping me!" thats not what I mean't about tomorrow. I finally gave in and packed our stuff in boxes, but before that, I looked at the almost empty house. The way the empty spaces have furniture imprints because of them staying in that same spot for a very long time, I'm gonna miss this house. And I'm gonna miss Johto, and then my mom knocked me out of my trance and said while putting on a raincoat and grabbing an umbrella because of the rain"I'm gonna see your father at the the Goldenrod Gym" I forgot to tell you, the reader that I am from Goldenrod City in Johto.

30 minute time skip

After finishing packing up a few boxes, I took a break and sat at the nearest chair. Then I saw a box next to the one I just packed named 'Mommy and Daddy's 'special' Toys'

I was curios and went to open it, but before I could reach it, the doorbell rang. I suddenly remembered something that dad said, I think it was "When you here someone ring the doorbell and not say 'Hello?' or 'Anybody here' call the police" I said, mimicking dad's deep voice.

I was all like "I'm probably man enough to take on anyone behind the door" I walk to the door and opened it, I didn't see anybody and then I heard a cute mewl below, I then looked down to see a moving Picnic Basket, I took it inside and looked inside it, and I was surprised to see...

Hey guys! Sorry if this chapter too short. The reason why I made the chapter so short is that I actually want to keep up the hype about what kind of Pokémon is Lucy, and yes her name is Lucy despite the chapter being short. Oh! I almost forgot! If you already know about Lucy's species, don't spoil for the Newcomers.
