Now, I have to say a couple of things before I start the story.
I SUCK at writing. I will not be able to publish a normal chapter until my friend, RipJaw0222 does not help me. And this will not happen in the near future, because he is currently watching another series, and he hadn't watched gravity falls yet.
NOW, ON WITH THE STORY!
Journal entry NO.279, 2016. April 27.
I am super excited to return to Gravity falls. It has been 5 months since our last visit, because our family spent Christmas in Gravity Falls. Wendy invited us to her birthday, which is about a week before summer starts, and I proposed my idea to the principal, that if we take the exams earlier, we would be able to visit our favourite town earlier. Lucky for us,the principal agreed, mainly because my excellent grades and Mabel's social work and I have taken our last exam today. I know is very early for us to take them, but this was the only time the examiners were available. Now, we have one and a half months free, so I decided to get my driver's licence. Me and my parents have agreed to get their old car, since mom has a Smart Mini, and my dad I using his retro car he renovated in his free time.
I have been mocked for writing a "diary". But, if there is one thing my adventures taught me, is that you should write down the things that happen to you. I know that the blind eye society is shut down, but better be safe than sorry. Also, it is good to keep track of my thoughts, and things like that. The main difference between a diary and a journal, is that the diary usually has a "dear diary insert unnecessary drooling and girlish slang blah blah" while a journal has useful information, and thoughts. Yes, I am following the diary stereotypes.
Besides the recent happenings, I have been a bit paranoid recently.
I had a nightmare with Mr. Doritos.
I know it does not sound alarming at first, but I haven't had a nightmare with Bill in it for TWO YEARS. TWO FRICKIN' YEARS!
I know I overreacted a bit, but when it comes to the supernatural you can never be sure. And it was not a usual dream, like Bill killing Mabel or Wendy, but he SPOKE to me.
He said something like, "HIYA THERE, MASON (Yes, he called me my real name, not Dipper or Pinetree) HOW ARE YA DOIN' WITHOUT ME? WELL I HAVE BEEN BUSY BEING A STATUE AND SEEING NOTHING! (he said something inaudible here) HOPE YA WILL LIKE IT IN YOUR NEW HOME SOON! AND REMEMBER, REALITY IS AN ILLUSION, THE UNIVERSE IS A HOLOGRAM, BUY GOLD BYYYEEEEEEEE!"
And the dream ended. I dunno what he meant about our new home, but we will see. I am currently waiting for a video chat with the dudes at the shack. I helped Ford in using the computer, and he became pretty good at it. It helps him being a genius. Ah, the call is incoming now. Gotta get a new journal. This one is full. Or maybe some invisible ink. Nevermind.
"Hi Dipper! Where is Mabel?" Asked a voice that belonged to a tall red-head.
"She will be here soon, she's just finishing her newest sweater." Wendy smiled.
"Seriously, how many sweaters did she knit? Well, I know she recreates the ones she outgrew, but seriously? She has waaay too much time. I wouldn't be surprised if she gave me a sweater for my birthday." Just then, Mabel entered the room "Oh, hi Mabel."
"Hey, Wendy! How's it going in Gravity Falls?" Asked the brunette.
"Everything is fine here, Soos and Stan runs the shack, Me and Melody are helping customers, Pacifica finally pressed charges against his parents for child abuse Thompson ate a snail because of a bet, Tambry and Robbie are away on a holiday, nothing extraordinary. And, what have you been up to?"
Dipper explained their last month, his twin occasionally saying something. Then someone knocked on their door.
Dipper excused himself, and went to open the door. Two police officers were standing in the door. One of them spoke up.
"I am Officer Reyes and he is Deputy Morrison. I am here, because by our sources here lives one Mabel Pines and one Mason Pines."
"I am Mason, but I prefer to be called Dipper. Mabel is up in our room."
"Please, would you call her down, we have to talk.
Dipper called out for Mabel, and they sat down in the living room. The officers looked concerned.
"We have the sad duty to inform you about your parents. There was a mass shooting in your town, and your parents were one of the victims. Your father got a shot in the heart when we suppose he was protecting your mother. Sadly, she got shot from the back, and she is currently in a critical state. We will take you to the hospital to have your farewells. She will probably die in two hours. I am really sorry."
Mabel was crying his eyes red, while Dipper held her, and comforted her,
(NOT PINECEST!) though he was just as shocked and miserable as Mabel, but he didn't show it.
Half an hour later, they were in the hospital, next to their mother's bed.
"I am so happy I can see you for the last time." Said their mother in a weak voice. "I don't want you to grieve for ages. I want you to be happy, and to live your lives. I don't want you to be sad and miserable. That is a mother's worst nightmare. Seeing his children being sad. Mabel, you are a wonderful girl. Energetic and optimistic. Stay that way. Dipper, I don't know anyone smarter than you. You will be a successful man. I want you to move to Gravity Falls. Your Grunkle Stan and Great Uncle Ford will look out for you. Remember, be happy..." Her voice trailed off, and she smiled for the last time as she held his children's hands.
Wendy Courdoroy was happy. Dipper and Mabel would arrive sooner than expected, but she didn't know why. They didn't explain. She, Grunkle Stan and Great Uncle Ford were waiting in the bus stop. But when the bus arrived and the twins got off, Dipper almost instantly rushed over to Wendy, breaking down sobbing on her shoulders. She was surprised, but didn't ask questions and comforted him as much as she could.
