Len stared out the window. He envied the snow. Snowflakes could delicately fall into the arms of their friends, they never felt alone, never felt left out. Yet len always did.

Len had fallen in love only twice, and those two he still dwelled on. One impossible, and the other to embarresing. Just thinking about this topic, he quickly and angrily yanked on the string to the blinds, blocking his veiw of the winter scene.

Rin patted his back and startled him from his thoughts. "Len! What are you doing out here, silly, Miku's birthday party is in the living room, she invited you to sing happy birthday."

He glared at her and shook his head, walking over to sprawl over his bed. Rin had a saddened composure and she muttered something about Len never leaving his state of depression. She wiped a tear from her eye and walked out the room, closing the door slowly.

There was loud singing followed by laughter and Gumi screaming, "Make a wish!"

Len wished he could participate in Miku's party, but he just couldn't move from his room to see the delighted loves of his life.

The hardest part was loving them both because he could only have one, but neither one of them wanted him. He had fans who wanted him, Rin who wanted him, but he knew only Luka and Kaito could satisfy his hearts desire.

Before he knew it Len had silently cried himself to sleep, frustation and confusion clouded his dreams.

{morning}

"Len? Len, are you awake?" A sweet yet deeper than rin's voice sang into his ear waking him up quickly.

He opened his eyes to a girl with blue hair. Not Miku's greenish blue locks, nor Kaito's shimmery vibrant blue moptop, but a blue as bright as the sky. When he realized it wasn't a familar face he snapped out of the daze she had cast upon him.

"..Uh...no-yes, I mean, uh...Who are you?" Len wiped the sleep from his eye and yawned looking at the stranger again.

Her eyes were a mixture of blue green and yellow, with golden flecks. He was captured by them, sinking into their depth and swimming in their see of happiness. A little too late, he realized he was blushing, and she was talking.

" Skye Nyaa." She pawed at him and patted her cat ears, which he hadnt even noticed they blended in so well with her hair.
