Merle stepped into the watch tower and shook his head in annoyance. He picked up 3 separate sheets of paper with half finished lists on them. He didn't have to look at the girly handwriting to know who it belonged to. She left the damn things all over the place. He crumpled up the sheets of paper and tossed them into a corner to deal with later.

It lingered with him as they walked, the sight of her tied to a tree. She was still a her to him, even if she had already turned, she was still a person. He wasn't sure why, usually once someone was dead they were a thing. Daryl had been the one to end it, putting his knife into her forehead. Not before he had seen it though the W carved into her forehead.

"I hurry over to her and place my head in her lap to receive a petting and in return offer her comfort. She doesn't need to be sad that you aren't here with me." A moment between Connie and Daryl told through Dog's eyes.
