1.1 Endurance
Jaina Solo was flying an X-wing in a huge battle. All she knew was that she had to defend the New Republic at all costs.
Her brothers, Jacen and Anakin, were also fighting in this battle. She was too busy fighting to worry about them, though.
She flew, dodging this way and that, and fired her ship's weapon's like crazy. Suddenly, she was hit! Her X-wing was spiraling downward, and she had very little control over it.
With some difficulty, she managed to survive a hard landing on the ice planet of Hoth. Unfortunately, she had no idea how she was going to survive there until she was rescued...if she was rescued at all.
She decided to make the best of the situation. First she did the obvious by calling in a request for help on her comm link, though she knew it might be a while before help arrived. Then she quickly inspected the X-wing to make sure it would not explode or anything. She removed the seat and other euipment that she would not need, and took a insulated camp-style blanket out of her survival sack (which just barely fit in the X-wing when she was flying it). She also had food ration bars and water, but she decided she better save that for a while. She finally decided to sleep for a while to get her mind off her troubles and to give rest to her exhausted mind and body.
Jaina woke up to the sound and of a blaster. Quickly she grabbed her own lightsabre and jumped to her feet, finding herself face to face an angry, anti-Republic guard.She exited the X-wing and the fight began.
She blocked and struck like crazy, but her opponent was difficult to defeat. Finally, after experiencing great amounts of excrutiating pain, She struck her opponents legs out from under him, and then finished him off.
Unfortunately, that had only been the easy part. The next day she suddenly found her self battling none other than the evil, cruel, grinch like sith lord, Darth Cherrycheesecake himself. Then she really started to learn what it was like to be completely miserable with pain and fatigue.
Jaina's Jedi skills were good, but she was no match for a Sith lord. She found herself on the defensive, with no opprotunity to strike whatsoever. This literally went on for hours before Jaina heard a ship arriving.
She was extremely frightened until she saw that it was a New Republic ship. Other Jedi were instantly fighting by her side, and they soon won the battle. With great relief, Jaina went on to the ship and returned home with the wonderful knowledge that she had helped to defeat Darth Cherrycheesecake.
