Brambleclaw Speaks: A Hard Felling to Follow

Note: This is an oneshot about Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight. I WILL NOT MAKE LONGER. So don't even ask. I don't own warriors (if I did Redtail would still alive at this point, xD). So without farther ado I give you…

I looked at the light colored sky painted by white clouds. Squirrelflight, I thought. That betrayer. She could have at least told me. In my mind I ran over that night, the night I found out that Jayfeather, Lionblaze and Hollyleaf weren't my and Squirrelflight`s kits like I was lead to believe. I still remember that night, running out of the gathering followed by Squirrelflight. Nothing could get me to take her back, after what she did.

"Brambleclaw," Squirrelflight meowed from behind.

"What," I said harshly, she deserved it.

"I was wondering are you free cause I would like to go hunting," she meowed, little scared at my harsh voice.

"Go hunting then, I don't see what this has to do with me then," I growled.

"I don't want to go alone, it gets boring," she replied.

"Go ask your sister, I`m sure she need another lesson," I growled it was true she did.

"But I don't want to go with my sister, I want to go with you," Squirrelflight said. I looked down toward her, her green eyes shone with pleading as if to say please take me back, I`m sorry.

Sorry, that's all she has to say? "No, not after what you did," I shouted quietly. Squirrelflight stalked of tail dropping behind her. Brambleclaw eminently regretted what he said. Why, she deserves it for all the lies she told, her and Leafpool both deserve it.

I sighed. Looking over to where Squirrelflight stalked off to I thought she might be sincere when she says sorry. That doesn't change anything. I sighed again, then I padded over to Squirrelflight.

"Squirrelflight if you want to go hunting with me I`ll go, just this once," I choked the words out.

"Great lets go," Squirrelflight said excited. I followed Squirrelflight out of the hollow into the woods.

~in the woods somewhere, on their way back from hunting~

"So how have you been?" Squirrelflight asked

"Fine," I said.

"Ok good," Squirrelflight said.

"I know what you trying to do," I said

"You do?" Squirrelflight said. "I guess it wasn't hard to figure out."

"No matter what you do, it doesn't change," I growled.

"I just want another chance," Squirrelflight stammered.

"Sorry doesn't change anything," I said before stalking of into the hollow.
