"Excuse me." I heard a voice as I felt a tap on my shoulder. "Could you show me where the library is?" I turned around and saw a boy around the same age as me."Huh? Oh sure." I wasn't really the person to help people out, but I was sure he was new around here. I started to walk to the library with him following me like a helpless person. "So, Did you just move here?" I said trying to strike up a conversation while looking at the ground. "Yeah, Just a few days ago from Asia. My parents sent me off to here while they stayed back." He said while fixing the shoulder strap on his school messenger bag. "You…Live here alone?" I replied while I stopped walking for a little bit and faced him. He nodded and continued to walk as I once again showed him the way. "Hey um, I never really got your name." I heard him say. "I'm Lovino, You can call me Romano." I said as I kept walking. "Nice to meet you Romano. I'm Xiang, mostly known as Hong Kong though." Xiang replied with a little smile. A short while later we arrive at the library. "Well, here we are." I said standing infront of the door with him and just about to leave. "Wait!" I turned around. "Do you have any book preferences?" He said before entering the library. "Well, I sort of do." I decided to enter in with him and went to an isle with cook books and recipes. "Do you like to cook?" I said as I grabbed a few books. Xiang nodded as I handed over some books. "Hey, Look. A recipe is undone." He pointed it out. "It's missing some spices and sugar.—Wait, You know this? No way!" We both said at the same time as we spent the next few minutes looking at cook books. I looked at my watch and read 5:34 PM. "Hey Lovino, Do you like art?" Xiang said while in another isle. "Huh? Oh yeah, I do. Why?" I said as I walked my way to him. "I do too. It's like we have a few things in common." Xiang said as he glanced at the clock hanging on the wall while putting away a book. "Hey Xiang." I said as I stepped closer to him. " 'Mind if I walk you home?" I said with a little smile appearing on my face as Xiang nodded and walked to the exit with his messenger bag. I then followed him out the library doors and onto the streets. After a few minutes of non-stop talking and laughing we finally stopped at when we got to his place. "Well, See you the next time we meet up." I said as Xiang quickly grabbed my hand and wrote a phone number on it with a pen. He finally let go of it once he stopped writing. "That's my phone number. Call me sometime." He said as he went in the house and closed the door. "Will do.." I whispered and smiled and walked my way back home.
