Hi everyone! This is my first fanfic, and I wrote this when I was bored, so… yeah. Anyways, please be sure to review! Thanks!
Naruto sighed. He was sitting at the top of the Fourth Hokage's statue in the Hidden Leaf Village. The day before, a group of Anbu Black Ops had just found an unconscious boy at the edge of town. Apparently, nobody recognized him, but they understood from his chakra that he was very dangerous. Perhaps even more dangerous than Naruto himself. He let his thoughts drift to the previous morning…
~Flashback~
The Fifth Hokage, Lady Tsunade, pulled Naruto aside that morning, and warned him to stay away from the mystery boy. "If he wakes up and accidently releases the Nine Tails inside of you, I will personally put that boy to death myself. You are to NOT GO NEAR HIM. Are you clear on that?" Naruto nodded, perplexed by Lady Tsunade's manner.
"But what if he goes near ME?" Naruto asked. "What will happen then?"
"Then we'll have to make sure that he doesn't go near you," Lady Tsunade concluded, crossing her arms in front of her chest. She leaned down to look at Naruto straight in the eye. "If you are seen at all with that boy, I will personally confine you in the village, and you won't be permitted to eat ramen until the boy leaves."
Naruto jumped back with a fully shocked expression. "Wh-what?" he stammered. "If I am seen anywhere with him, I won't be allowed to eat ramen until he leaves? That's totally unfair!" he complained, making a big fuss. Unfortunately, Tsunade just nodded, reinforcing her decision.
"Well if you want to keep eating ramen, stay out of the boy's way!" she repeated. "We have to take precautions. His chakra level is unbelievable!" Naruto just slumped down sullenly.
"I need a bowl of ramen," he sulked, and left the Fifth Hokage.
~End of flashback~
Jumping down from the statue, Naruto landed next to his sensei, Kakashi Hatake. "Oh, hello Naruto," Kakashi said warmly. "Why the sad face?"
Naruto looked up at him, surprised. "Didn't you hear about my talk with Granny Tsunade this morning? You're usually up to date on the latest news first."
Kakashi shook his head. "No, I didn't hear about your little, ah..., conference with Lady Tsunade yet. Well, what about it? I'm all ears." Kakashi sat down expectantly.
Naruto plopped down beside his sensei. "You know the boy the Black Ops brought in?" Kakashi nodded. "Well, Granny Tsunade told me that his chakra is really unbelievable and said that if I'm spotted anywhere with that guy, I'm not allowed to eat ramen until he leaves!"
Kakashi patted his student on the back. "Wow, that's tough," he murmured sympathetically.
"I know."
"So why don't you fill up on ramen with Iruka Sensei right now, and you won't have to worry about not getting to eat ramen, because you're so full of it?"
The chunin looked up, his gaze brightening. "That's a good idea!" Without another word he sped off, only to return to say: "Thanks, Kakashi Sensei!"
