Something Unexpected
A/n: This was written before the 6th book so there are no spoilers or anything to do with it at all.
Also this is post-Hogwarts.
Draco Malfoy was strutting down the 7th floor corridor to the Room of Requirement. As he walked along the corridor he met Hermione Granger.
"Hello, Draco," Hermione said. Dumbledore had told thm they must use a first name bases to stop their fighting in sixth year and it had stuck.
"Good morning, Hermione," Draco replied. They continued walking together and realized they were both going to the same place.
"Why are you here?" asked Hermione with a bemused expression on her face.
"I was told there was a staff meeting here today about some special buissness, yourself?"
"Same."
As both the Potions and Defence Against the Dark Arts professors entered they were it by a blast of noise. All of the staff and both Gryffindor and Slytherin houses were their. They were all screaming: "Congradulations!" to their friends or professors/ Heads of House.
There was also a large banner reading:
"Congradulations on Your Engagement Draco & Hermione!"
Hermione and Draco turned to each other smiling from ear to ear.
"Well Draco, I don't think we are in a staff meeting anymore," Hermione whispered to him.
Then they leaned in for a kiss to which everyone clapped and cheered for.
