Waiting

The little blue alien slowly paced up and down the carpet of the living room. The suspense was killing him.

"Take it easy, Stitch" Lilo said.

"Please do" said Pleakley "You're going to ware a grove into the carpet."

Stitch sat on the couch and started twiddling all four of his thumbs. He didn't no how much longer he could stand the waiting.

"Stitch, relax" Lilo said calmly "I know you're excited, but that's no reason to make yourself nervous"

Riinnngggg went the telephone.

Stitch jumped off the couch yelling "Icha Zoola!'

"Stitch, calm down" Lilo said "It was just the telephone."

As Lilo went to answer the answer the phone, Stitch sighed. He didn't know how much more of this he could take.

"Hello?' Lilo said into the phone "Yeah, she's here, hold on." Lilo removed the receiver from her ear and called out "NANI!"

Lilo's older sister came up. "What is it?" she asked.

Lilo held out the phone for her "Phone for you"

"Thanks" Nani said as she took the phone. Before going into the next room, she spotted Stitch and asked "How's he doing?"

Lilo sighed "Not so good."

After Nani left, Lilo went back to keeping the little blue alien calm.

"Don't worry, Stitch" she said "It shouldn't be long now."

Just then, a door opened and Jumba walked out.

Stitch, Lilo, and Pleakley all looked at him, Stitch was practically biting his nails.

"Well?" Lilo asked.

Jumba smiled and held out his hand to Stitch. Nervously, Stitch took it and they shook.

"Congratulations to you, 6-2-6" Jumba said "You are very lucky experiment"

A large smile began to appear on Stitch's face. It actually happened. Jumping into the air, the little blue alien happily cried out "Aka Tooki!" and everyone laughed.

"You may be entering now" Jumba said with hand pointing to the open door.

Stitch walked in, Lilo and Pleakley following. There, wrapped in a blanket, was Experiment 6-2-4, AKA Angel.

"Maka mala?" Stitch asked her.

"Ih" Angel responded.

Jumba came into the room with a large box and set it on the floor. Stitch looked into the box and nearly fainted with happiness. Inside the box was a dozen little, fluffy, four-armed, tentacled, spiky backed, big eared and nosed, razor clawed and fanged, stubby tailed, purple alien babies.

Lilo smiled at her blue friend as he continued to look at his children. She knew he was feeling prouder than ever at the moment.

Jumba chuckled and spoke to Pleakley "Is funny, really. I never intended for my experiments to be doing the reproducing. I guess there are some things that can surprise even the evil geniuses."

As Stitch turned to hug Angel, Lilo stared at the little alien's offspring and happily sighed. She was going to have a field day naming these little guys.

"Aw" Pleakley said as he looked at the little purple aliens "These little monsters are kind of cute" he began to stroke one the alien's necks "Coochie-Coochie...YOW!" the little guy had bitten Pleakley's finger.

Lilo, Stitch, Angel, and Jumba all laughed as Pleakley struggled to pull the little alien off his finger. It was clear these kids were a chip off the old block.
