"No! Inuyasha," Kagome screamed as she crouched down beside the hanyou, who had an arrow in his chest. Tears of anger and despair filled her eyes as she looked up at the pair, the two that had done this to him.
"Why would you do this to him?! You two are supposed to love him," she screamed. "You're the closest to family that he ever had!"
"No, miko," he contradicted. "Izayoi WAS... And now YOU are."
"That's still no reason to try to kill him," Kagome yelled. She looked to the woman. "He trusted you!" The woman scoffed.
"If he had, he would've come with me, Kagome... But he chose you."
"So you two paired up to kill him?!" Kagome turned to the man. "I knew you would sink this low..." Her gaze returned to the woman. "But Kikyo..."
"Kagome... Give it a rest," the woman replied, returning her arrow to the quiver as she turned to the man. "Would you do me the honors of killing the miko?"
"My pleasure..." With a swipe of his claws, Kagome was on the ground, her throat cut. He turned his back on them, looking back only to smirk at the two again, just as Inuyasha struggled to his feet, blood dripping from his ripped haori, tears clouding his eyes.
"Damn you to hell... Sesshomaru."
